This one ALWAYS makes me cry. My grandmother taught me about those words written in red. And she had a neighbor that I had a special bond with, similar to this video. I was a little white girl who would spend part of my visits to my grandmother's visiting the neighbor lady as well. It didn't occur to me that we were different races, we were both the human race. She was a lovely, wonderful lady named Castella whom I will never forget. She meant a lot to me then & is still in my heart.💙🌿💚

I wish we could go back to When News Stations- Just reported the news. Politicians were just cheating Not trying to cause a race war. I was raised in one of the first and biggest low income housing in Pensacola. And I didn’t even know I was the only white girl that lived there. We were just children, friends, playmates , school buddies And if one of us was bad which ever parent in our complex that caught us whipped us. We didn’t ever go hungry, dirty or in pain one or more moms always made sure every child was ok. Different moms different times. All the parents would do Friday night cooking and we played games and music and just had a great childhood. There was no race hating. They all knew no one picks their color. We are just colors on Gods canvas. No two colors are identical and he meant it that way. He chose your color and gender for a reason. Men and women have to be different because one has to be able to have children and the other one Hass to be able to give her the children we can all be the same it was meant to be different to reproduce same with the color nobody’s identical we are all one-of-a-kind it’s sad just like people call everybody all of a sudden racist and then when the move the song comes on in the ghetto by Elvis why does everybody assume that they’re talking about a black young man. They’re talking about a poor family living in the ghetto not color it’s not about color it’s about who has money and who doesn’t just like all of a sudden all these actors want to defund the police but they go behind their private security they don’t they don’t care about their color in there it’s one has money and one doesn’t that’s it if the world was so racist there would be no Oprah Winfrey‘s they would be nothing and there would be no mis black America, all black colleges black award shows in the part that is really disturbing is the reason those all started was because that’s the way it was back then but those people were ignorant they were separated and they didn’t even really know why so many people fault and dad to bring everybody together but it’s OK to have all black churches black only colleges that they will not let anybody in because of the color of their skin they need to abolish any thing that separates somebody by race we didn’t choose a race I want to see everybody up in front of God and judgment day comes in they go he goes why won’t you let those people in your church they were to white they were too black isn’t it gonna be funny when he’s the one to pick the color I watch reactors a lot and for some reason one person can come out and kill 500 white people in the beginning of the movie I don’t know if they’re Irish Scottish whatever if they murdered one black person they go oh my goodness that said he’s killing a brother or if they killed somebody that’s gay all of a sudden that’s a whole different thing to we’re not we’re not separated we are not different we just happen to all be a different shade of some color but we all have different facial features supposed to be that way it’s very sad that now all of a sudden everybody still in empowered over something they have no choice so far and the one thing they do have choice over is how they treat their fellow human they do not give that one it’s not about the color of somebody’s skin it’s about how they treat other people I would like you to find someone identically the same color it’s not gonna happen we’re all different colors some taco some lighter some rather some brown or I meant it that way were Master P‘s calm down people love each other let’s go back to being men women human beans love you you won’t dress I won’t ask that you want just don’t hurt other people to do it and jokes and jokes get over it I’ve heard more old white women jokes in my life and I’m going to say they are just funny

I grew up in a Pentecostal church, there were words my family said that were ugly words we were not allowed to say and I never associated them with races or people, just ugly words.. I’m so grateful I was raised by a true Christian woman! Had people of all races and creeds In our own home since I was a child, if you wanted help- she knew the way to the healer! Forever thankful, forever finding more truth in the word written in red!! I believe.

I just want to tell you that God spoke to me through you just a few hours ago. I hadn't turned youtube on and was sitting at work watching the computer system when my phone opened itself, started youtube and played this video by itself. I thought "I have heard this before but it's good enough to watch your reaction to it again". When this video stopped youtube turned off by itself and the phone went back to screen saver mode. About an hour later I opened up Facebook to find that a really good friend from high-school passed away yesterday and immediately I knew why this video played for me, my friend was like the old man in this song, if anyone deserved a ticket to the other side it would be him. I know you didn't post this specifically for me, but God certainly used it to talk to me tonight, God bless you for making this video and sharing this message with so many of your fans that may never have heard it before. I have loved this song since it first came out, but after tonight it has a totally new meaning for me.

Raise up, make yourself a millionaire, gather the crowd, easy rock from the 70's will build your channel. You have over 300,000 faithful followers.... treat them well and your base will grow. Heavy medal, rap, and other types of music will cause you to lose your base. Tread carefully.... You have a once in a lifetime chance to fly. Don't screw it up

I recently lost a papaw (my only papaw i knew since i was brought to the United States through adoption), and he was a wonderful Christian man. He loved all people and accepted his family because he showed everyone he came into contact with the same love that Jesus shows us. His funeral was yesterday and it wasn't an easy day for me, but knowing that he is in a better place and finished the race, I can't wait to see him again in Heaven, go to him and my other family members, and hug them again!

Van the guy singing is Ronnie Dunn. His partner on guitar is Kix Brooks. They are one of (if not the) most awarded duos ever. Ronnie Dunn cowrote this. It is a story based on his own life. He made friends with an older man who lived near him as a kid. Country music (real country music) is about stories based on real life. I have always been a big fan of songwriters who also perform their music. So much more emotion in that.

You have crying, remembering the old farmer in Grady Hip Nursing home. My Nanny was a Nurse there for over 40 years. What I would give to have written down any of his stories. I looked forward to Holidays on the porch in a rocking chair.

In my 20's Brooks and Dunn were my favorite country singers. I got to see them live way back then. And Ronnie Dunn can still sing his ass off!

Nothing wrong at all with being well rounded in all genres of music. This is a very good song with a great meaning. God talks to us all in ways we will understand I believe. And I do believe. This has been the best reaction I have seen from you so far. I'll be watching more now.

In 2020 my Momma passed from cancer. During our last few months together she requested this song (and only song she requested) to be played at her funeral. I had never heard it, and couldn't/didn't listen to it until the day she passed. I cried like a baby. I BELIEVE Momma. And I KNOW it doesn't all end with a ride in a hearse. Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life...and the only way to the Father. I had a dream just a year or so before Mom got sick (or really we just didnt know yet 😔) that I was at her house at her feet crying and telling her I forgave her for the past, I repented for the things I did and said that did not honor her over the years and then I washed her feet. Then I woke up. That day I text her and told her what God laid on my heart. I said to her what I said in the dream and she said she said she loved me and she wished she could hear it every day. (I didnt mention washing her feet, she probably would have thought I was weird or something lol) Fast forward to 2020 and we found out she was sick. 3 months later she was paralyzed from the waist down (due to the cancer spreading). I took her in to take care of her. She didnt want that because she didnt want to put me through that, but I said no, you are my Momma and nobody will take care of you like someone who loves you. So she stayed. (Plus she cooked in a nursing home for over 20 years and knew how they treated patient's.) Anyway, it wasnt until one day I was giving her a sponge bath and got on the floor to wash her feet that I realized God restored our relationship and humbled me like never before... washing my mommas feet. She passed 2 days before my 40th birthday. One of the best moments was when I was helping her and she looked me in the eyes and said "Thank you for loving me so much". 😭💖 It wasn't always easy, she was "stubborn as a mule", as they say, but she was a fighter. Always was. All I could do was LOVE HER LIKE JESUS. So thats what I did. By the grace of God.
