I started with the track pack version knowing that the conversion could be ordered if the drone was too much. That lasted about 3 days before I just could not tolerate an essentially open exhaust. However I had no desire for a "comfort" setting so I added the muffler to the driver side and kept the non-valved section on the other. This "hybrid" version between the two offerings is absolutely perfect.

Oh cool. So yours is basically this setup with my valve open? We like it a lot with valve open. No drone and nothing annoying. Sounds so good!

get a valve controller and you can open it full when you want to.

You should make a video on installing lowering springs on the 8y rs3 I own a 2022 and there is literally zero videos of install on a 8y that I’ve been able to find

I have that coming next week! We have H&R springs on our site and they are awesome! When that video goes up, I have a few special tools I used linked in the description along with the Springs. Took 4 hours and wasn't bad at all!

This thing sounds amazing! Just recently I've been keeping back up with customized exhaust related items, just like I did back in the 90's. With you being young, you've trained yourself to be a guru at installing exhaust pipes, lol. If i ever need any exhaust modifications in the future may I hire you?

So the AWE switchpath system does not include its own tips ? Or are you just keeping your stock tips on?

Correct. The stock tips are integrated into the bumper. So you don't need to change them. I don't think anyone makes tips for these. But they are removable if you wanted to powder coat them black or something

Couldnt justify this exhaust costing more than the APR, when the APR is "true dual" all the way, has only 4 slip on pipes, and costs hundreds less. Curious why you went AWE?

Love the unique tone AWE seems to give cars. Also it doesn't need to be true dual since it's an inline engine. Dual pipes won't do anything for the car. Less weight with one larger pipe and it keeps the engine tone more consistent all flowing together.

My wife also said her '19 Type R was too quiet. I tried to convince her to get the AWE exhaust, but she liked the Ark Performance. The Ark exhaust is effectively a straight pipe catback.

I'd assume so since this does not interfere with any emissions equipment. I know we can ship it to California. Yes this is just a car back

One more question do you think this will make a big difference if I already have the option from Audi which is sport exhaust( not the stock one)

Not too sure, I haven't heard that one. But this with valve open has no muffler. So I'm sure this will still be a nice upgrade in sound over the sport kit

Nope. A cutback can't cause any damage to the car. A dealer would have to prove it caused an issue for them to void warranty on something that broke.
