Brother CS 6000i 20 Tension

I just bought this machine model and was using it yesterday to make a quilt for my son. It has corduroy top, natural cotton batting and a flannel backing. I'm using a size 14 needle, not sure what type of thread though. I believe a type that mentioned it was good for quilting. I am just sewing straight lines in the ditch to quilt the layers together. I did 2 rows just fine. I am on my 2nd attempt at the 3rd row. The problem is the bottom thread is looping every now and then. Any idea what would be wrong?

I'm using Nylon thread for a tote bag but it's bunching up. What can I do? Im using a 90/14 needle

I have this sewing machine and I know I need to press no 1 to get the needle to move to the left and 2 to get the needle in the middle but I don't know what to press to get the needle to move to the left I hope you can help thank you

When I use the walking foot if I speed up at all the stitch length gets really really tight/small.

I have this machine and have tried so hard to fix my tension problem. My bottom loops have been coming up. My top tention was on zero and no help. Ive cleaned it retread it. Anything ive seen online. I brought it to a local brothers certified machine person and they said there is no problem. I have no idea what else to try.

Most of the time when I have had this problem I would re-spool the bobbin (not sure if that's the correct term) & it would help. I think the bobbin thread would get too loose or too tight.

I've tried that. It's still doing it. I use my older machine because I can't figure it out. The stitching is also inconsistent

Nope. If I leave it sitting a few months and pull it out it’ll work good for a week or 2 and goes back to being a pain.

Leaha Dionne its happing to my one i watch the video and i did fix the problem ,its the bobbin area you have to tighten the plastic bake bobbin it has green little screw that you have to tighten

I had my machine professionally cleaned, and now the material is feeding through too fast so it looks like I've gathered with a basting stitch. Any suggestions?

My bottom thread is bunching up when I sew on a thickness. I am making a rag quilt with flannel & changed the needle. HELP!!!!

Question. No matter what I do, about two minutes into a good run, either sewing a hem or just a decorative pattern, on my CS-6000i, I get a crunching sound and find that the bobbin thread is getting severely tangled or the top thread just breaks. I've made sure to use the proper bobbins and even did an extensive cleaning to absolutely no avail. Could you do a troubleshooting video about these types of issues, please?

+DM Havoc Hi DM, I would recommend having a professional sewing machine service person see if you have something caught in the tension disks. Also have the machine serviced on an annual basis to keep it running smoothly. ~Sara~

HAVOK RP Group I just brought my machine but every time I press the foot control it beeps and I’m getting error E1. Is this a malfunction or the operator?

Marilyn Gilmore one is the presser foot is up or the sensor inside your machine is messed up. It’s on YT how to fix it

My machine does not sew d designs it only do it one sided while d other side just has needle holes no thread

Thank you for your videos. I still cannot get the tension correct. I bought new needles, new thread, cleaned the machine and still, I get loops in the back. My machine hates me. Lol

I have a CS-6000i and I'm having problems with my button holer. I've re-threaded, changed needles and still having problems. It's skipping stitches. I'm stumped
