I was going to say that a brother and sister flying the plane with the mom and dad in the back is going to be the best CRM in the entire industry.

WTF are you talking about?
@Muehlema17 күн бұрын
Well, the is no guarantee that their duty plans will always match them in cockpit. Usually airlines create random teams

I hope that the feeder Airlines’s are paying them more than $ 1500 a month these days because these people work hard to get their atpl license, and should be getting high wages.

You literally don’t have to be rich to become a pilot. Live with your parents, and work full time, and you’ll afford flight school.
@mmouseav8r4028 күн бұрын
I paid my own way, enlisted in the military, worked three jobs and studied. I went off of 3 hours of sleep for nearly four years. I’m now at a major airline
@vasicp8 күн бұрын
Most pilots paid for flight school with their own money. In USA, it's less than a single year of state college tuition (and forget about private universities!).
@markg79638 күн бұрын
@@vasicpwell. Usually it’s from 100 to 120 thousand dollar outlay to get to your atp. Now you may make a little money once you get your commercial and CFi. But it’s pretty significant. I think it’s worth it. Been flying for 38 years now. Could t think of a better profession. Congrats to the parents. The heck with the kids. They will have them off their payroll forever😂
@scottmarcus64438 күн бұрын
@@markg7963 So I'm not a pilot, but the thing I've always wondered is if you can purchase insurance, so that if you fail your medical and can't fly anymore it pays back the flight school tuition / loan. Of course the insurance would pay less each year.
@jargraroch30004 күн бұрын
Cute perhaps, but not advisable. The US military can give you a few stories on why this is not a good idea.
@waradmiral35175 күн бұрын
If you two both want a change and less hectic job,maybe you would consider being pilots on a personal jet owned by an individual? Gulfstream 700? Message me
