it's also a curse for baker because whenever someone holds that pistol he has to be cursed with the memory of their death wich in most cases is gruesome, george was shot up in front of him, garnett shot in the head, allen bleed to death, and legget was hit with a tank shell, then doyle and paige picked it up, doyle was shot into a puddle of blood and paige gave up on life then let himself bleed to death in front of Hartsock (red) who also gets paralyzed while holding the pistol.

Save for a few actual historical people (e.g. Cole, Sink), the characters in BiA are pretty much fictional. They aren't completely made up though, but more of a mash-up of different paratrooper biographies. Matt Baker seems to be primarily based on some legendary airborne soldier named Summers, I've read somewhere...

@Tvvugt That´s a tough one, a soldier with brains but no heart will be an efective killing machine but won´t show mercy or look after the man next to him, an all heart soldier with no brains is just cannon fodder, so I gess an equal balance of both would be what makes a great soldier. But that question goes beyond any of us.

no the door was on the same side for both games....if the door was infront of the wing, when they jumped out, they would get ripped to shreds by the propeller and probably hit the wing...the door on a dc 3 is always on the left side behind the wing...

no. baker is born in 1921 the war is 1944 he is 23!. btw you have to be 18-30 to go to war.

lol when baker was young he took a toy airoplane and play with it any ways i didnt say it was wrong he was a real character

whats more impressive is the fact that he had a Dakota DC-3 toy in 1931, when the thing itself was first introduced in 1936. But i get it, it makes one fucking cool transition. Also, back in the first 2 games, he used to be from Saint Louis, not Brighton (which is near Springfield) but who knows, maybe family moved around

was he fighting for germany? then he was probely a volksgrenadier. all people between 13 and 65 was forced to fight for germany. btw mac is probely also under 30..
