Almost all of these were from 99-00 when they reunited with Bruce and media wrote them off. Remember magazines were saying Limp Bizkit and Korn had more staying power and relevance. Funny how those bands are nothing now and Maiden has dominated the globe since reuniting.

Iron Maiden are my biggest idols ever. Despite no support from Radio or TV, they never stopped or became discouraged and kept working harder than they ever believed they could with both touring and recording, rose to the top despite efforts to knock them down and became one of the most successful and influential heavy metal bands in the world and truly earned their place in rock history. They inspired me to do the same in life. No wonder they don't take nonsense and raise their middle finger to the Rock N' Roll Hall of Shame. These Colours Don't Run.

Bruce has settled down a little bit since those 1999-01 rants. :D You know, those years were about Maiden's comeback to the top of the rock-world and they wanted to say that it's not about nostalgia, it's about making ass-kicking music for many years to come. :) I think it was last year when Lady Gaga came to Maiden show and the band though it was ok, quite good thing actually. So I don't really think that Bruce has anything against Emimen as a musician.:) Nowadays he does't rant like that. :)

I used to live in LA, not far from Lemmy’a apartment, which was pretty much right across the street from his favorite bar/restaurant, The Rainbow, where he would spend hours playing the video poker game at the upstairs bar! Anyhow, getting lectured by Lemmy was an honor/a right of passage for us Music Students/Starving Musician types in Hollywood/LA, it was way more funny than offensive, so I would feel the same way about getting yelled at by Bruce, but I am always on the lawn smoking weed with the other plebes, as the last few Maiden shows I saw were at outdoor amphitheaters, so I can’t afford to sit close enough to get yelled at by Bruce over smoking weed close to the stage, but you know, it’s on my bucket list and part of my life goals, lol!

Yeah, "hits generation of music" is something that I don't like either but I mentioned Gaga as an example of the fact that though especially Bruce bashed mainstream or even other musicians, it's not really (or it's not anymore, at least :D) anything personal against any musician, whether it's Eminem or any that Gaga.
