Even as an ex-fan....I have to agree with you there. Clearly the man influenced MILLIONS. An amazing feat. But the claims this video Bio made ...."....greatest MA of the 20th century"...ummmm....Hardly. For me "The greatest MA of the 20th C" would need to: be a many times world champion, and hold several "black belts". Someone that has put in the time and tested/documented doing so. Against elite MA's. The best in the art and "sport" of MA. e.g. Benny "The Jet" Urqidez, Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, Chuck Norris, Joe Lewis....the Rhee bros Phillip and Simon....they deserve to be "considered" as one of "...the greatest MA of the 20th century". Perhaps the "best MA entertainer/showman"/MA film star"....

James Coburn gave Bruce a good piece of advice when he needed it the most, it worked, and got Bruce a foot in the door in Hollywood. Glad it turned out that way. Phew!! Turns out he was the new big GOAT of Hollywood. 💪

There was not much James could do for Bruce even though he had a fledgling acting career and had connections. But he did offer Bruce lots of moral support during Bruce's most difficult periods when job offers were non existent.

The most immature act would be to name and only actors as martial artists and comparing them only to actors who were martial artists. However, need to remember that they became actors bcoz they were martial artists and learned/competed with other pure martial artists/fighters. Joe Lewis, Allen Steen and Mike Stone were equally worthy competitors as was Chuck Norris or Jackie Chan.

No disrespect here. I loved Bruce. He was bigger than life but he was also a human being. The steroid use. The constant cortisone shots and the other drugs that he was doing didn't help. I always came up with two scenarios how Bruce died. It was either the former which I just mentioned or someone had poisoned him, like they had done in May of '73 and again 10 weeks later, when he died in July of '73.
The mafia wanted Bruce but he didn't accept their offer so they killed them.

Ive been a Bruce fan for most of my life and I've gotta say I lost all respect for Linda Lee .She just likes to keep up the facade, pretend the underlying stuff and keep up the fake appearances, quite opposite to the great Bruce Lee.Ok,she seems to be ok with how both Bruce and Brandon passed? What the eff?I could never do that ,,both men were killed def under suspicious circumstances ,,to say the least. And what..nearly 50 yrs on still giving us Jack?Ide rather listen to James Coburn or Wong Shu Lung(who sadly passed).I maintain, the crappy rubbish they've said Ting Pei gave him a headache pill, then he didn't wake up?Give me a bloody break.More so with Brandon,,umm he was shot dead with REAL BULLETS,and ahhh...murdered .Yet no one has been charged?Wtf???

Brice. at one time was an idol of mine too. When I was a kid growing up...I never questioned any of the facts I heard about his background I was so into him. Impressed with his larger than life charismatic persona. He was and still considered today one of a kind. But, he was made out to be more than he was. A great martial arts film star YES. A talented martial artist....YES. Influenced literally MILLIONS to study martial arts...some being full-contact champions (e.g. Bas Rutten...Pancrase). But, his background stats are suspect.... Fight with a Wong Jack Man...no evidence it took place (not a single photo or film clip...no newspaper article talking about the fight and how Lee was put in the hospital..as in the portrayal by Jason Scott Lee in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story)..even Linda his wife never mentioned he was put in the hospital after that fight from being kicked in the back. And, put in that special bed...says he was paralyzed...or almost...the physiotherapy would have taken so much longer to have him walking again.). There was no fight with this so-called Wong Jack Man at the Ed Parker tournament. No boxing ring. Allegedly his mother was from the wealthiest family in HK. Yet when Bruce came to the US he allegedly was working as a dishwasher in a friend's restaurant. His parents should have bought him a luxury apartment or home and a Porsche and a Ferrari. :) Why would he even have to work period? In the film with Jason Scott Lee he supposedly beat up the police commissioner's son. No police were called to Lee's home. No arrest. No law suit. And mostly...Lee never competed. So he was unproven in combat. So he was NOT a "fighter". He was mostly a master at marketing himself. That's why he's still being talked about almost 50 years later.
