THAT was a cool clip. You know? Private lesson with Bruce Lee. He could bring his observations, from another place, to normal fighter wannabees like this dude and guy's punches looked good. He could follow Lee's instructions. Not everyone can follow a teacher's instructions, in some ways, because most teachers don't want you to do what they tell you to do and they don't want you to know you do SOME things better than him. Most teachers want to be masters. Like way above their students. Probably the best teacher I have ever seen in any area of study I've been involved in, unless Lee would turn it off when the cameras weren't rolling. BUT. From all accounts, dude was like this ALL the time, engaging and inspiring.

Great vintage footage of Bruce with James Coburn. As usual, here come the perpetual know it all comments from those that just look to critique and talk down on a man that passed away in the early 70's. So many ppl jump in the comment section and suddenly everyone is an expert, apparently some ppl need to be reminded that he passed away long before most of us were even born and this video was a different era. Anyway it was good to see this footage of him.

Helping out of other legends like Steve McQueen, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung, etc. Showing martial arts to the whole word. You can tell when this vid was made that Bruce rejected wing chun trapping and focusing on boxing and fencing footwork. Looking at Bruce's personal training schedule from 1965-70 he started to remove wing chun and replaced with boxing, weight training and street effective techniques and by 1970, no wing chun. In 1969 Bruce told William Chdung that he lost faith in the Chinese martial arts and his fighting approach is "efficient street fighting with everything goes" he also says that he abandoned wing chun because it’s not effective and jkd is. Dan Inosanto in 1970 in karate illustrated described jkd sparring as "vicious but polished street fighting."

Master Lee was one of the original people to expose bullshido and fakes. His biography has been done many times, it's easy to find out about this man. He was challenged by karate and Chinese "masters" all the time. For the skeptics, just look at all the interviews from other people like Chuck Norris, Joe Lewis, Jim Kelly, Bob Wahl, James Coburn, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Linda Lee, Dan Inasanto, basically anybody who ever meet him after 1964. Master Bruce Lee was the real deal in self defense, not sports fighting with rules

You fanboys don't seem to agree with each other. The thread I just left had fanboys calling Norris, Lewis and Wall, jealous haters because they never said Bruce was a fighter. Hard to decide if it is laughable or sad. On one hand, it's always funny to see the magic frameskip teleport punch and knowing my ancestor developed the media which makes the frameskipping easy to identify, no matter how doctored. On the other hand, they use media magic to try and convince people to follow a dead man that followed the dragon instead of Christ Jesus and is slower than a child with only a year of experience of being half-trained. Quoth the Word: "For without Me you can do nothing".
@coopersheldon3947 ай бұрын
Next time, it would be more convincing and deceptive if the plants did not teleport their leaves at the same time the magic teleport frameskip punch occured. That is one of many giveaways. Nice to know the plant in the wind is faster than both of their attempts. I expected no more from those that enter the dragon, "for he has but a short time". And "without Me you can do nothing." - Teacher and Lord, Christ Jesus
@coopersheldon3947 ай бұрын
I know I like rubbing salt in the dragon's wound, but I had no idea that one of my co-students in hand to hand defeated Bruce Lee back in the day within an instant! So they _did_ go up against one another. History sure loves to repeat itself, and like the Elijah before me, I now ask of you that called upon your dragon, satan, where is he? Did you catch him at a bad time? Perhaps he is sleeping. Where is your power now, dragon? I am nothing compared to the LORD, so why is the ryugoon unable to stand against me? Why have I outgrappled red belts at Brazailian Jiu Jitsu and better, outpunched the fastest and heaviest hitters in Boxing, outtossed the best at Judo, outmaneuvered the best at Okinawan Karate, outsped the best at the Olympics, and defeated all of the others at their best elements, including the green berets, the marines, and the army from the Vietnam War? Why did I eventually defeat my own former instructors? Because I teach and prophesy! "And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helpers, administrators, various kinds of tongues." You say you don't believe in God, and a believer who knows he is _nothing_ compared to God has effortlessly defeated you all! Glory to the LORD God alone! And His perfect and only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, has paid the sin debt in full on the Cross. All the LORD wants is a personal relationship with us. "Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."
