I’ve loved Bruce’s music since I was 10 (1977) when I’d listen late night on the radio. Great storyteller and he speaks about the things a lot of people have experienced in their lives. ❤️

Probably the roughest thing he had to lose was the comparisons to Bob Dylan. They’re both great storytellers, for sure but cut from different cloth

First time I heard Nebraska was in Canada when it was released I went into a record store there and I could listen to the whole album I do believe that was 1981 then I saw him at the Spectrum in 1985 born in the u.s.a. tour. My first show ever was at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum the river tour and after the river he put out Nebraska and I loved it as deep dark as it was I could relate.
@ClassicTVMan1981X8 ай бұрын
I think Nebraska was supposed to have been a double album set, not just with all the acoustic tracks that made it onto the final release, but also with all the band tracks that made up most of 1984's Born in the U.S.A. album.

to me it's interesting to see how his delivery and singing style have changed over the years. This is has the energy but also a bit 'shouty' at times, but he developed a subtlety and nuance - and strength - in his voice as he got older, and is all the better for it.

Thanks Mr. Boss for Letting Hank Williams 3 Take this song to Outer Space. This isn't to bad at least it isn't Commercial pop radio. Hank 3 and his band bring this and the emotion missing from this one. Right on Bruce Jersey Shore for Real!!
@Thomas_Donofrio7 жыл бұрын
Nah I think all the emotion is right there in Bruce's voice! With the full band he's able to push it farther. But the album version is a thing of beauty. I prefer that folk version to the old country sound of hank 3
