She would dance with other men while he sat on the sidelines and watched. But when it was time for the last dance of the evening, he would get up and dance the last dance with her. Hence, the song. And since he passed away I‘m listening to this Song almost every evening….. But I feel good by let my thoughts flying. I have been in love with Bruce since 1975 when I first saw him perform (after Born to Run had been released) and even in all my dreams and crushes, I never really believed anything like this would ever happen to me. This was much better than winning the lottery and so much more. Lastly, you mention that he kept eye contact with me, and for me looking in his eyes was startling - it was so intimate, I have heard the term soulful brown eyes, never really understood what that meant, but boy it felt like I could see right down to his soul - it felt like I could see his struggles, his successes, his genuine attempt to make this moment everything I could ever want. Read the description...or in the absence of that, just do the calculation in your head....the description says Bruce dances with A mother (not HIS mother)...it was a Mother's day concert. If you choose not to read the description and to rather do the calculation - this concert was in 2014...Bruce was born 1949, which would make him 64 on this day, and therefore his own mother would be AL LEAST 84 (if she gave birth to him when she was 20). Soooo, would you say this lady who he danced with, is 84??
