That is a beauty. My first job out of High School was at an Agco Allis Dealer in the late 90s. I remember when that model was new. And the fact that it is a D21 underneath is even cooler. I hope you keep it the way it is or bring it back to D21 looks. That would be cool too. But ultimately, it is your tractor to do with what is best for you. Awesome addition Bruce. Enjoy it.

Seeing your little guy running around the yard with Mom and Dad brought back a scary memory of childhood for me. A local fellow owned a Dump Truck business, his youngster got away from his Mom one night when he was returning to the yard. He ran towards Dad's truck to see him after a long day away and sure as hell he didn't see his young son and backed over him, killing him instantly. Bruce set good ground rules and always know exactly where young Gunner is when he is at the shop. I know you know but just make sure you and the wifee are on the same page!

Most associations will not allow what you are talking about doing. On non component frame tractors or tractors that still run cast rear and yours does the engine block and rear must match in your case allis challmers which became agco so that is why he has that sheet metal. To run mahindra sheet metal you will need to run a mahindra engine and rear end. So unless florida allows you to run any combination you will get protested and dq as you will not fit the rules also I know you will not be legal in the midwest read rules front to back before spending money

Nice Tractor, Bruce. I would reach out to Mark Gettinger out of Indiana. I believe he said if the transmission grinds, use reverse to stop the transmission and then shift to your forward gears. You don’t want to grind forward gears or it will start to jump out of gear. No governor and jumping out of gear gets really expensive. I have basically the same tractor I have been building for years, with 210 Sheetmetal. Mark is an absolutely amazing guy, a master on Allis Chalmers. Unfortunately we lost another Allis Chalmers guy last year, Max Simpson. Looking forward to seeing on the Channel. Nice to see an orange one with an Orange Engine. Most guys are going with the Series 40 IH/ Detroit Engine.

Mark keeps records of each transmission. Grind in reverse. I wouldn't change anything till you get use to it. Never a bad ideal to tear motor for rod and main bearings. You can make Allis motor live. Just need some improvements

That’s amazing! That’s gonna bring so much good content! Love where you’re heading with the channel. My opinion is to leave it like it is because it’s an Allis Chalmers under so Agco thins are a perfect match. And there’s really not a lot of them out there so it will be talked about a lot! I also really like the original name and it makes a perfect duo with the truck. You first made a Business expense and then, you took the Drastic meaures! Nothing keeps you from building a Mahindra puller in the future.

I just want to warn you about driving a pulling tractor when its not hooked to the sled. These pumps have been known to seize a plunger and if this happens you wont be able to shut it down other than hitting the fuel dump or pulling the guillotine. So be very careful trying to do hole shots in the driveway. Guys have died doing that when the tractor runs off and when the rpm comes up you wont even be able to push the clutch down. Very informative seller, Brad Penn oil is good oil but I think Schaeffer’s Moly base oils are better. Like he said though everyone’s got an opinion. Definitely a seems like a straight up trusting guy.

I actually enjoy it but have noticed a lot of the enjoyment comes from those running the actual show. If they keep them moving in quick succession so it's almost non stop action its a lot of excitement. Long delays between runs makes it seem a little like baseball or even golf ..... my opinion anyway?
