Got to give Pasta credit here. He was out of his element, stepped on the ice and immediately dropped the gloves. Stepped up and ate some solid punches. It doesn't matter how it turned out, all that matters is the message that was sent. He didn't cower to Tkachuk and the antagonization. This game is treacherous in many ways, circumstances beyond your control put you in an odd position, not facing the play fully, or tied up with the net or box opening.... where defensively people normally think to themselves I would never bodycheck somebody if this were to happen. But now the foil is on, and that guy is asking himself if the age old rules of battle really apply here. The panthers probably have 5 more games of this, might not happen in game 3. You can't just have Maroon show either, Bruins need to ask themselves how badly they want this if one hired mercenary can take on a whole team of panthers by himself.
