The Bruins overall defensive effort.

My biggest highlight was the team playing like the B’s we know and love. Sway had 11 shots at him. You think that would be enough for a SO but, that one goal was just a sniper of a shot. Hopefully, Pasta is day to day but, if not, it would be nice to see the B’s win like Toronto did without Matthews. A much needed win (especially against a really good team). Rematch on the 31st in Washington.

Agreed. A complete game. An actual powerplay goal. Washington was on the second game of a back to back and may suggest they were a little tired but Boston played a great game I thought. Merry Christmas all 🎄🎄 🙂

Caps are a very good team, and this B's team finally showed up! It was a good complete game. I saw a couple silly mistakes, but the least I've seen in a B's game in some time. Losing Pasta? that hurts, but, he's been dealing w something for a while, so, give him a chance to recoup. Loving this new line, Coyle, Lindholm, Marchand. They're scoring goals, and points. Keep it. 4th line, clicking. Now, to dial in 1st line and the 3rd. Wahlstrom get's some time, and we'll see who gets called up. I am even happy with Zadorov. He's taken fewer penalties. Making more shots. Makiing better passes for breakouts. and lastly... MERRY CHRISTMAS, as well.

Full 60 minute effort. Coyle looks good on that line. Peeke had a great game. Zacha needs to hit the net with those shots. Only Caps goal was a LASER beam. Good win.! (if you seen pasta on the bench with trainer before he left game, it sure looks like it's his ribs. )

Thought the B's played one of their best games of the season against a quality opponent. They were very solid defensively especially on the major penalty kill. I thought the major call was a little weak. Wally initiated contact well away from the boards and the Caps player looks like he loses his balance and falls awkwardly into the boards. The offensive output in the 3rd was a very pleasant surprise. Could be the best period of the year so far. Hope Pasta is ok but then a game or 2 off might be what he needs to help ignite the energy. He is one of the guys that have drifted in and out of games at times this year but we certainly don't want to lose him for any extended length of time. Thanks for the updates. they looked as expected, which means our expectations were high. good full 60 minutes by everyone, especially special teams against a strong team maybe the coach should tell them before every game you have 3 days off after this game😁

We have to take into account that Ovi wasnt there. Allowing few shots and killing the five minute major is a big accomplishment. Somehow tonight the Bruins looked like the team we are familiar with. BTW Matthew Tkachuk was seriously injured in the Panthers Bolts tilt.

This game felt like the last couple of years. I'll go with the killing of the 5 minute major as the best highlight. They just dominated that kill. And the best post-game quote has to go to Marchand with Pasta "looked phenomenal naked" when asked about the injury. The plus side of that comment makes me believe that the injury isn't serious. (Edited for clarity).

I was watching the Washington feed on ESPN+, because the NESN cameras are absolute CRAP, and the Washington announcers talked about how bad the Bruins are (scoring) in the 3rd period. LOL. I got a chuckle. Big thoughts on Pasta. Hope he's well.

This was a team effort that really wanted to win. Secret ingredients close behind “skill” is “want” and “lady lucky” soon follows. They Bergeron back-checked and skated for the puck. I think Pasta have been injured for along time - he have not put in his body in heated situations and the skating and the shooting have Ben without explosive for a long time..
