Brush Fire Threatens Homes, Forces Evacuations in Santee

12.16.20 | 1:30 PM | SANTEE - A fire of unknown cause broke out in the hills north of the northern end of Cuyamaca St. The Sheriff’s Office issued an evacuation order, but the firefighters were to stop the forward rate after approx 1.5 hours. Both air & ground units were used. The fire will be under investigation.
