Underwhelmed is right. And surely it'll be expensive. So it's got to have a unique selling point to make it in the current market. I heard that Tiger will introduce some clothing hacks that he does personally with this line. Gimmick or not, it remains to be seen.

Sun day red is some thing dumb. The font looks cheap, like the first version on a word doc on Arial. The Tiger logo I’m indifferent over. I don’t hate it but I was hoping for a tiger woods icon image. The side fist pump. The clothes look nice. Nicer than Nike I must say. But Tiger shocked me today walking around in pretty much white pants. I thought he only did that for team events. Also curious about the construction of the shoes. They don’t seem to be at that FJ level stability.

I think the logo is fine, but until we actually see the merchandise in the flesh and the pricing it’s difficult to have an opinion, I don’t think we will see much of it here in the UK anyway given the size of the US market.

You are right. The only worse name could've been "Sun.Day.Red" oder even "Sun!Day!Red!" 🤦‍♂ And the logo is very well designed either. It reminds me of some weird Scandinavian X-mas pullover 😂 He would've way better off by just sticking with the already established TW name. Other than that, I don't really care that much. When I buy new things, I'm only interested in the price-performance ratio.

I definitely think they will sell because it's Tiger, but as someone who does graphic design as a hobby. That design and simplicity is so easily replicable they going to struggle with counterfeit products.

Jordan was arguably the most dominant player in the game of basketball when they launched the Air Jordan brand alongside Nike. People liked the shoes and color ways, but the fact that the most exciting and electric player in basketball was the face of the brand was the main driving factor. Yes, 100%, Sun Day Red will thrive on the fact that Tiger is the face and namesake of the brand. You said it yourself, how do ticket sales and viewership change when he plays? People want a piece of Tiger, and now it’s actually his own separate brand - I anticipate the SDR brand will struggle finding their “right price,” but ultimately will thrive.

I’m not a big fan of the branding or the logo. I think maybe just the name Woods and or him doing a fist pump would’ve been better for the name and logo. The shoes look pretty good, more like a pair of Jordans though. The hoodie with the big tiger on it is ok too, but I haven’t seen anything at launch that made me like, oh yeah I’m getting that. I feel like it’s definitely going to be expensive for sure. I am not trying to hate on this venture I’m a TW fan

This should have happened 5 to 10 years ago, when Tiger was relevant. Until the range hits the UK stores, and we can assess the quality, i will hold my opinion. Saying that, price will be key. Too expensive, and it could bomb, but i think his name will, like Greg Norman's did with the Shark range, will carry it.

We all thought it would be premium clothes, at a premium price. But people will buy it, look what people pay for the Air Jordans when they come out. People who are diehard fans will buy the product, maybe not a lot, but some. The logo is a little too simple, I get the premise behind the idea, but they could have come up with something better. I think they will change it in time, but that will cost big bucks, with all the legal jargon, trademark, registered fees, etc., but it will happen.

I live in the US and the first impressions of the logo have not been well received. One gentleman calling the logo "tiger bones" because is career is all but over. Personally think he has some life left in his game but it's definitely not a strong looking logo.

I don’t think it’ll do well. Younger generation has too many other brands that they are familiar with. Many of the younger people didn’t grow up with Tiger and although he holds records and is undeniably the best ever, a lot of people are wearing what the current players are wearing or pushing. People like myself who grew up watching Tiger every weekend aren’t gonna wear those iconic colors and haven’t been. When’s the last time you seen a golfer wearing black and red at the course? Tiger owns those colors.

Not sure what you expected from a clothing line. Of course you won’t get anything new and innovated. It will be an expensive brand but I think it will ride hype for awhile then it will level out. To start, the lower income golfers will overspend what they should to buy stuff. After that it will probably level out and have its customer base.

Generally a Tiger Woods fan. This line looks uninteresting to me. The logo looks sloppy and chunky. The looks were boring. The old TW logo was much cleaner looking and I think had much more potential. In no time, people will call it SDR to resolve the weird ambiguity in the Sun Day vs Sunday. Sadly, looks like a meh to me out of the gate.

Tiger had an opportunity to revolutionize the golf clothing industry with a bold reach to the new young golfers and the millions of diverse golfers he brought to the game. Nope, the Tiger logo looks like a skeleton (with a few broken bones, maybe) and Sun Day makes no sense as it's written. The You Tube golfers have their brands, more awareness and the golf companies are taking notice and exploiting their relationships.
