Heck yeah, this is one of my favorite systems. I've finished a solo campaign and I love making warbands. This is one of the only games where I feel you can truly use any model AND they can all be in a team.

2 player miniature games are a dime a dozen. But the fact this had a SOLO MODE is why I very happily paid for the book. Really hoping to see some SOLO playthroughs!!!

I love these rules so much! The game is simple where it needs to be, but adds depth and flavor where it matters. I LOVE that someone was actually brave enough to use facing. So many games out there do away with facing because it's a source of contention with competitive players. What about the rest of us who don't play with jerks though? Or play solo/coop? Facing adds such a fantastic immersive as well as tactical element to the game. Definitely ordering this book.

Man you are working way way too hard for the benefit of your viewers Lee! You must have a extremely understanding Mrs.! Speaking from experience I have had several girlfriends that got really jealous over my hobby time . I had a bunch that liked playing Vidya, and 2 that wanted to see what fuss was about over AD&D but I think they just wanted to insert themselves as to see why I set down rules that we both should have nights where we get some me time. I really hope your boy is getting pumped up about his Gobbos! I would have killed to have a dad that was doing what you are for him! Of course my Dad taught me a trade and 1k other things to survive in the world but our fun consisted of raising farm critters, hunting, fishing, and many activities involving guns like long distance rifle target practice, skeet shooting, reloading n such. It was a different generation but I do know some boys grew up with cool dad's like you, I hope he never takes it for granted my friend!

Haha, yes she is cool. Probably pleased to get me out of her hair, though. 🤣 My boy is loving the Gobbos so far, getting them painted soon.

@@tabletopskirmishgames awesome! I can't wait to see the color scheme you guys have worked out for them! BTW I mentioned the other day about adding in a marsh crawla sloggoth. One of it's abilities is giving a +1 to hit on melee attacks a for all friendly units within 18" of the model. That's pretty big for throwing in the fact that it's not that expensive to ally into your list

I like the game. Most of the mechanics are solid. Shooting it weird as you roll low instead of high like all the other checks.

Hey man, excellent as always. Your videos are inspiring me to get back on the video making bandwagon. I have a question though as you are so prolific! What’s your editing/filming/publishing schedule like? Are you at it most nights? Do you have a routine with it? Do you tend to batch film or one shot it? Cheers and keep up the amazing work!
@tabletopskirmishgames2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! That's awesome to hear. Before the channel my work involved making short daily videos so I've got the filming/editing process down pretty quick and efficient. I also keep it super simple. I make videos every day, and although I do have some that I schedule for certain days, most of the time I make videos about what I'm interested in on the day. If I want a day off, I'll make a few videos in one day and schedule them. If I make a series - like the how to play videos - I'll usually work on them for a week, and post as soon as they are ready each day. I set a goal of making at least one video each day.
