I’ve got the NT1100 DCT which is basically the same bike but both feet planted on the floor. I wanted an Africa Twin but didn’t feel confident with the height and test ride sold the NT straight away. On longer trips the DCT is so good and relaxing and just like you, after a hard acceleration, it’s just one trigger pull to calm her down again - easy. I just wish they came in more interesting colours.. otherwise it’s ace. Enjoy!

Nice review! I have the 2019 version and I absolutely love it. DCT is amazing, for me S1 is the sweet spot though. Being able to manually overrule it, makes it almost perfect for me.

I was all set to get one of these when they came out as I’m a huge DCT fan. Sadly the lack of (proper) cruise control and tubed tyres was a deal breaker for me. I ended up with a GS, I use cruise all the time as it’s brilliant for sticking to those 20 limits. Thanks for putting this video together 👍🏻

Bloody good mate,thanks.Ive been customising my fazer 2002 fsz 1000,seat,lowered pegs,mx handlbars to try and get it more adventure,just love the 144 horse motor but theres a dct 2016 available,what you think?

That’s a tough one. I really enjoy the dct and it makes like really easy but it’s definitely not for everyone.

Very nice video👏🏼👏🏼 I had the 2017 AT DCT for a few months and I've also found Mode S2 better for me except for the rough final downshift to first gear when I'm approaching to the stop a traffic light. Do you have this on your AT too?

Your windscreen appears to be aftermarket... what kind is it? My only complaint on my 2017 is fierce wind turbulance on interstate. Hoping replacing OEM windscreeen will resolve.
