2 years ago with Wout, De Gea, Antony, Fred, Erickson playing significant minutes, we finished 3rd. Injuries were severe last season and our squad will look better this year. I wouldn't confidently say that we finish 3rd, but finishing top 4 is certainly a possibility given that Liverpool is an unknown, and clubs like Spurs, Chelsea, Villa, and Newcastle aren't that much better than United, only an 8 point gap.

Thank you. I've been saying this for years about McTominay. No question he can win games and his attitude and professionalism is second to none. However McTominay has been more of liability than an useful player. How many games he hides or drops stinkers when he's not scoring and this has been going on for years since his debut. One half decent season for McTominay can't make up for the seasons he's been objectively poor. Maguire and Lindelof should be sold. Both individually and collectively are awful and not Manchester United players. The amount of points they've cost us and the poor goals we've conceded over the years thanks to them making multiple mistakes. As much I don't rate Bruno Fernandes, it's no point selling him now unless Mount becomes the player he was under Lampard and early Tuchel era. Bruno Fernandes is that kid in school that wins the 100% attendance certificate for never skipping a day. He always plays even if he's injured. One of the few traits I have to give credit.

The problem with the Rashford example about feeling comfortable if Arsenal bought him is that he is a good player and if he leaves, he probably will be very good in a new environment and a fresh start but that doesn't mean that he's going to get back to that form with us. It feels like Rashford doesn't want to be at United at times and it shows. It's like there is too much pressure and he can't handle it (I don't think many can). So, just because he may go elsewhere and do well doesn't mean it's a good enough reason to keep a player that looks like he doesn't want to play for our team on the pitch. I would say if we sell him, we just don't sell him to a direct Premier league rival, he can flourish elsewhere and we make big profits with him coming through the academy

Selling Varane and Casemiro in the same breath isn’t going to age well provided their wealth of experience in addition to the lack of players in Europe with their specific profiles. You don't get that many injuries by luck Eth doesn't like to rotate which has come back to bite him last szn as he was fighting on all fronts in his first szn reaching both finals in the cups quarter finals in the Europa and 3rd in the league. Even the fact the younger players are playing so many games like garnacho for example playing 20-30 games in a row. That should never be happening. It's also been reported that his training sessions are very intense. All of these factors play a part as to why we finished where we finished. Also the medical team is a big concern.
