This was my wife’s favorite song. She said it was our song and it was. The night I proposed to her, at an Italian restaurant at dinner with friends. I had the manager play this for me over their audio system. In the middle of the song, the lights dimmed in the restaurant except the ones around our table. I stood up and got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She said yes and all the patrons applauded us. We had a beautiful 16 years of love and life together. I’m so in love with her still today even. Sadly I lost her to a drunk driver accident in 2003 after 16 years of marriage. Still today when I hear this song it is a reminder of our love and the torture that she was taken from me so brutally. I love you, Paula. Now and forever.

There still good music, maybe if you give a chance to modern bands rather than wasting time on what is trending on the radio. I'll name some 2019 songs that are exactly what you all miss. 1. Revolution Saints - When The Heardache Is Gone 2. The Defiants - Fallin' For You 3. Beast In Black - Oceandeep 4. Avantasia - Heart

2024? Bryan Adams is a legend, one of the best songs I ever heard so emotional. I wish I could have experienced the 80s for even a short period, music, films and women were great back then. This song fires me up so much, it's magic. Great video, I got chills when the girl in the audience starts crying and running away, and Bryan tries to follows her.

LYRICS Oh, thinking about our younger years There was only you and me We were young and wild and free Now nothing can take you away from me We've been down that road before But that's over now You keep me coming back for more Baby, you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven Oh, once in your life you find someone Who will turn your world around Bring you up when you're feeling down Yeah, nothing could change what you mean to me Oh, there's lots that I could say But just hold me now 'Cause our love will light the way And baby you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven Yeah, love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven Yeah I've been waiting for so long For something to arrive For love to come along Now our dreams are coming true Through the good times and the bad Yeah, I'll be standing there by you, oh And baby you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven, heaven, woah You're all that I want You're all that I need

Liric- 0:20 Oh, thinking about our younger years There was only you and me We were young and wild and free Now nothing can take you away from me We've been down that road before But that's over now You keep me coming back for more Baby, you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven Oh, once in your life you find someone Who will turn your world around Bring you up when you're feeling down Yeah, nothing could change what you mean to me Oh, there's lots that I could say But just hold me now 'Cause our love will light the way And baby you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven Yeah, love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven Yeah I've been waiting for so long For something to arrive For love to come along Now our dreams are coming true Through the good times and the bad Yeah, I'll be standing there by you, oh And baby you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven, heaven, woah You're all that I want You're all that I need

Nobody can sing this song as great as Bryan Adams. Country singer Jason Aldean sounds okay, but it’s not the same. Bryan Adams has a singing voice that nobody else sounds like. You can be a great vocalist and sing it, but it’s not going to be the same.

For years they have been trying to really coexist with the fans during concerts... While recording albums... it's amazing how many they put energy... When they reveal their feelings, even in this song... And the are not ashamed... if I had chosen a different path in life - it would be this way - to devote myself completely to what I love to do!!!

I heard this song before when I was younger, times were different, I been with many girls that I loved there was always something and I always were cheated at the end and when I lost faith in love completly, it found me on its own, now I know for sure real love exists because it's feels good all the time it's always happiness in everything I do, the moral I get from that is, God always knows what he's doing your real love of your life will come in most unexpected moment and you will know it's coming you will feel it from the beginning it's something different you can't explain, people in the past knew that, that's why it was easier to find it, now most of the people dont know why they running for, talking about love become almost shameful. The truth is there was never and never will be nothing more beautiful than true love ❤️

Would you give up all the technology of today, for living the 80's once again? I would.
@Stormwatch1538 жыл бұрын
Me personally without thinking, in the 80's colours of nature were more natural and pure, weather was weather, we actually had proper seasons, food and drinks were much better - everything tasted natural and non metalic and non plastic, you were sure that you're eating a real food and not some shit mixed in some shitty lab with some shit chemicals. Music was fantastic, and pure, some of my most beautiful memories are in 1980's. Nowadays kids are empty, egoistic, lame and fake...we had to wait for another music clip for hours to show, or to watch our favorite tv show every week, we were eager to find something, to develop, to create, to understand - really understant - nowadays everything is instant, overhyped and shitty, and everything is forgotten the very first minute it's over, no matter how overhyped junk it is.

So many great memories of 80s music. The top 100 Countdown on the weekend, raking leaves in the yard with the digital clock radio propped up against the open window screen, and the DeLand date and Skate on Friday nights.
