Great video as usual; you really captured the beauty of Bryce. When I was there two years ago I did a combination of the Navajo and Queen's Garden loop and that might be the most scenic trail I ever hiked. The spires and hoodoos are amazing. I was surprised that there was no snow when you were there. At 9,000+ ft. at the rim, they get and keep snow more than a lot of the other parks in the vicinity. But I'm glad you had good weather; you'll get your share of the white stuff soon enough.

you have absolutely outdone yourself on your video of Bryce . . . MAGNIFICENT!!! . . . you have a gift for capturing the dynamic contrasting colors in sheer rock walls and structures produced by shadows and, most importantly, with the "perfect oveall exposure" AND, at "jaw-dropping" angles . . . WONDERFUL! . . . I have watched nearly every pictorial out there on Bryce . . . I would rate your video as "the BEST" . . . for a while, I wasn't able to put my finger on what made your videos stand out head and shoulders above the rest . . . It's the calming effect it conveys to the viewer along with the overall sense of peace and tranquillity . . . just in the last couple of months, your new equipment along with some of your new techniques and ideas have elevated your videos to the highest level . . . congratulations!!! . . . most importantly, and tell me if I'm wrong, by hiking with a friend, rather than a "group that you have to keep up with" where they control the pace and you are simply a follower, you now have the time to unleash YOUR CREATIVITY!!! . . . and it is quickly rising to the top . . . it is profoundly being revealed:)

Wow Gary! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this comment. I appreciate the kind feedback. I definitely feel less pressure when I’m hiking alone on terms of filming. I do feel awkward sometimes talking in front of the camera with people watching even if I am close to them. Also, I’m not worried about holding anyone up. I see the difference myself in my videos that I am solo. Thank you again!!
@garybromberger40445 жыл бұрын
I've also started watching the CAT-niece videos (aka This Girl Hikes . . . aka Christine) . . . and, it has dawned upon me that the quiet, non-hurried "narration/commentary" of both of you, even in those times of unexpected frustration, make for a more relaxing, enjoyable, inviting and positive experience from the standpoint of the viewer . . . I love "all the elements" that you are now incorporating into your videos . . . perfect!
