Tony donated to our park in Winston Oregon about 11 years ago. Much needed in this tiny town with no support for skating. Thank you Tony

Black sheep in a black sheep community- that's fkn rad and punk as shit! Tony is double the appitemy of what it was all about being a skateboarder back when skating wasn't so popular. My first complete (after buying a used Vision Jinx with 2 different trucks no wheels, slapped my other cheezy shits on) was a Hossoi Picasso, super sick and popular seller at the time. Only Hossoi deck I ever had but I had a few Tony Hawk decks back when. Loved all of them and never fell into choosing a camp bullshit, was just stoked on skateboarding and being a stoked little kid having fun and getting after it. Time always proves what is real. Tony was and still is and will always be one of the best and greatest! This dude was killing it and skating street way way before the first ever video games existed kids. Respect!

12:04 wow Riley!! Riley + Tony, I'm proud of both of you! As a parent and a skater who grew up with Tony Hawk, I am impressed because you inspired youre son in a way that exceeded 100% and the bonus(like Tony stated) was Riley exceeded every expectation Tony Had...My daughter is 8 and is progressing but it's tough and she is excited about the other 10,000 things in life besides skating. and For Riley to skate all while knowing it would be years, decade before he could skate on the same level as his dad..............***By the way,, I have a memory from late 80's + Tony Hawk ending a interview at his house by Saying " Well I'm gonna go skate with Riley" and there was this little tiny kid skating in tony's backyard ramp or maybe pooli forget. (but I do remember that bowl, vert ramp with tiny mini ramp on top= gnar!! Well I think what Tony Did was special and so does my wife..kudos Tony. And most dads wouldn't let theyre son skate for Baker. Antwain Dixons, lizard King,Hammer etc, that Baker..but Tony knew he culd lose Riley totally if he were a d!ck. that's smart and difficult..respect!

I also love that you don't shower your subject with complements. You're funny and light, and those rings are badass. My only suggestion would be that you might change that background if you can. It's a little distracting.

tg asks Hawk how much longer he can do this and tony immediately grabs his knee. i bet these older pros are just beat the hell up. Mullen said his hips actually fused his legs or some shit from bone breaks and scar tissue. skating is no joke for the body as you get older. i know my knees are shot and i dont even skate anymore. cant really.
