That's the natural evolution of aerodynamics Even the hypercars are looking more and more like lmp1 Aston Martin Valhalla/Valkyrie Koenigsegg Jesko Pagani Huayra R Bugatti Bolide etc

Nope. They don’t have anything to do with it. They are only involved in LMDh, but not LMH :)

0:36 That statement isn't entirely true. Which is the reason their entry was denied. ACO and LMEM don't want any involvement in the ensuing litigation between the holders of the Vanwall name and ByKolles.

idts. these regulations were aimed more at bringing back manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche audi etc rather than privateer teams, which might be a shame if you are like me who likes to support underdogs but manufacturers like Toyota, Peugeot, Alpine and Ferrari have already confirmed entries in lmh while Cadillac, Porsche and BMW have confirmed for lmdh, so it might not be a flop after all.

They may be called Vanwall now, they don't make any Vanwalls. Even Glickenhaus will make some cars for qualifying as a manufacturer, but that's too much for ByKolles it seems. Also, that's just great, another turtle LMH forcing the BOP to neuter the proper cars to the point where Toyota is losing to a 5-year-old grandfathered car and wondering if they should even be using a hybrid system they're only allowed to turn on after 200km/h.

Very good point. It's a shame Aston Martin (s)trolled everyone and walked away, leaving the rules to be written in ways that don't make sense. LMP2 wouldn't need to be affected because the Hypercars would be turning out 1000HP instead of almost half that amount. IMSA's approach (though it pains me to say) is better by forcing the hybrid and cementing the performance so there isn't a lot of awkward reworking of BoP. It just seems a lot of good intentions in the rulesets are hamstrung by missteps in the execution and overall management.

Of course no! Completely different sound. It’s some Cosworth DFV from old F1 or LM cars.

@@sinusmagnus2015 sorry mate but it sounds completely different than a V12 especially the Lambo V12. I heard enough old F1 and sportscars in real life to say the best guess is a Cosworth V8 (maybe DFV). Let your ears check 😜✌🏻🥂

@@DPW864 well, that engine is hella reliable compared to all these Turbo Engines. Just look at the Glickehaus and Peugeot. One turbo failure there, another here. I think they have the best engine they could get.
