Still not a fan of pre-orders or groupbuys for switches in 2024, but nonetheless excited for these in the current linear-dominated market

They’ll also be in stock, but you’ll pay a bit more for them. I understand where you’re coming from though.

Hi, while it is a Pre-Order, 50000 switches have been produced. Once the pre-order is completed, we will just finalise the quantity and produce whatever amount we need extra. This Pre-Order should be quick and without any problem. I opted for the pre-order because most IC respondents said they wanted to preorder at a lower price.

Hi. How are these compared to boba u4t in term of tactile and sound?

I’ve never personally tried the u4t so can’t compare

Great review as always Bob. Even though you say these switches have a deeper sound profile, they still sound ¨clacky¨ enough for me. And you´re correct, the market is dominated by linears right now. So it´s always nice to see tactile options come into the market for us ¨tactile¨ people. I hope HMX comes out with a tactile soon. Yeah, it would be cool to see you do more keyboard reviews. But mostly barebone kits. Those of us that watch your channel and follow you on Twitch are mostly enthusiasts that like to build our own boards IMO. But if you wanna do pre-built boards to expand your audience, that´s cool also.

As HMX tactile is in the works, so I would expect that sometime this year, dont know the exact date though. Yeah I want to get more into board reviews, but still do switch reviews here and there. The main reason for prebuilts is to expand the audience and they seem easy to get for reviews. Thanks for the feedback!

Great B-roll shots. Also, Blot on PC looks damn good. I agree with your take on pricing. $0.40 is more than reasonable for what it is, $0.50 isn’t too too bad either but I feel like there is a lot of competition just under that price point with HMX and EverFree, not for tactiles as much though, like you said I’d like to see a review/showcase of some of your higher-end boards. Maybe something like “This keyboard cost $500. Why?/was it worth it, after owning it x amount of months/years”
