I am a similar build and this is my entire top game. In a seminar like a decade ago Robert Drysdale taught me how to drive forward on my toes to give grinding pressure in top side control. Ever since that moment I started applying the same body weight mechanics into my entire top game philosophy. These are incredible fine details I'll be focusing on for my next session.

I’ve pretty much shown myself everything ik with a year of freshman wrestling and about 6 months of JJ AT 10thp. But after an accident I came back after 4 months but went tn more open mats and never went back to my gym bc I was learning more with rolling live and having many styles to shape my game to what it is now. I give props to all my coaches but my style is different as I tailored what I think works and added my own flare. KZbin gets a bad rap for teaching JJ but I’ll pull out a move mid roll from a KZbin reel without my mind registering it. THE MATS DONT LIE!

Great stuff. Ethan - what strength building exercises that have provided the most gains in your opinion would you recommend? Most of my time is dedicated to BJJ and on off days I typically follow the ATG style protocols for mobility and injury prevention/PT. I'm sure I'm leaving a lot on the table when it comes to actual strength building.
