@samuelemeryjiujitsu well, it's not surprising; it's ironic & hilarious. You're not autistic enough. That's why you didn't get the gist of it. It's not really your fault that you're a normie... or is it?

Can you give us a system for escaping the front headlock? Such as when to use the drag out vs the sit out vs the peek out?

Thanks Ethan. I've been wrestling with bigger wrestlers, asking for advice, and working diligently on my wrestling game. Great stuff, keep 'em coming and hope to have the honor of grappling with you next time I'm down there. All the best

I took the advice saying to start every round standing and ran with it, it has helped transform my wrestling game. Would love more of these blue belt videos, they highlight great stuff to keep in your pocket for when you need it and basics I’ve started implementing with every class.
@RyderKnightly6 ай бұрын
that first move with the wrestlers arm drag from headlock; you need to turn your head to look under the arm. Think ear to armpit. Then it comes out easily and your neck has more power. You can also turn your whole body into it as you circle to the back at the same time. Wrestling 101

Question, why do they use a belt system in no-GI? Makes sense in the GI uniform but in no-GI, I don't understand.
@JS-st9gs6 ай бұрын
People need to see the carrot. So having milestones will keep people on the mats or they'll go to a gym that will promote. Just a thought
@KieranWymark6 ай бұрын
It's to track your progress and for comps else black belt level no gi will be against white belts etc fairly sure anyway
@user-vc66 ай бұрын
Belts system is a decent well established level system. That’s universally accepted . Just easier to continue using it.. ( you could use short colours or something but it sounds kinda lame) when talking about practicality it actually doesn’t make sense for gi either . You don’t really need to buy new belts, it’s just a level system

Full faced dirt bike helmets and neck guards should be normalized in bjj grappling. I know I got unintentional elbows and knees more grappling in constant contact vs coming together for contact for an instant in a football tackle. Good video.
