if you ever want to get a new cage i would recommend a ferret nation or a critter nation they are AMAZING!!!!

I agree with the Ferret Nation Cage Idea better, cause it has the both sides of cage door opening instead of one side door.... I have a single level Ferret Nation Cage, but plan to add another level real soon... Both of my Ferret Kin: Rhaenys and Drago love it.... It's spacious and real easy to clean... The Ferret Nation Cage is a bit bigger then the Critter Nation, but worth money spent in getting it... My ferrets are free-roamed companions when I'm home... They have my bedroom, my kitchen, and bathroom to roam in... all 3 which are Ferret proofed... & When I'm at work they stay in their Nation cage for the duration of time, and get released again for 4 hrs max free run time when I return home from work, before I go to bed and they do to...

Shampoo will rip and dry the natural oils on their body use none instant oats use a zip lock bag or an old sock poke holes in the zip lock bag and make sure the whiter is cloudy with the oats then soak he/she for like 5 minutes or more then dry them off as best but not to much then they will try to find something to dry themselves off oats will not dry mess up their fur nor strip too many oils use non instant rice for them to dig in that helps remove some of the oils too

Hey! For the shampoo I would recommend using oats! Just pour some oats in a sock and put it in the tub! It’s very easy and moistens ferrets skin! 💗✨have a great day 💗💗

Have you tried giving her olive oil or salmon oil on her stomach while you do her nails??? I do it for my 7 (2 of which were abused before and don't like humans,and one is a wiggly kit) and it works perfectly!!! Also, that cage is fine if it works for you. I personally hated a similar cage that I had when me first 3 were younger because it's difficult to clean. Mine freeroam my bedroom (only place in the house the dogs aren't allowed) but they have a double ferret nation to hang hammocks and stuff, and while it's not as amazing as some say it is...its easier to clean then most cages.

Mine have a giant cage - the ferret penthouse. It’s full of softness, hammocks, cubes and one of the doors is off. They don’t get claw trimming very often. No claws makes it difficult to climb up on their couch, which they love to sleep under. Then there are the various climbing things, flex tubes and what all. All of this they have in their very own room. I love my ferrets.

Please don’t use soap on your ferrets unless you absolutely have too because they have something on their fur! Your cage is okay for now if she gets 8 or more hours a day out of the cage if you ever decide to upgrade your cage I suggest a ferret nation double unit or critter nation double unit these are the safest cages for ferrets and they are easy to clean and maintain. Your ferret is super cute, hope this advice helps

Ferrets dont need shampoo or even baths. The baths strip them of their oils and in response, they create more than they had and then they smell worse. That is a too small cage. Not trying to be mean, but these things are important and you should not be reccomending bad products
