If I remember well, Dynamite was the first BTS song all in English…..For the little story, it was hard for them to sing in English, except RM….and when the journalists asked V which part of the song was easier to sing, he replied : « na na na na na na 🎶 « …😂😂😂

No worries about identifying the members correctly the first few months. It took me a long time to tell Jk, Jin, and Suga apart bc their facial structures are similar. And I’m an Asian too. Now, I can tell them apart just by glancing at them.

I had problem because when I thought that I could recognize them, because V was the guy with mint hair and Jimin was blonde, the next time Suga was the mint hair guy and RM was blonde. Then I decided to do like the people from the immigration department at the airport and check only their ears, eyes, noises and mouths, and it was easy!!

I never get sick of hearing you say you love Jimin’s voice and tone because that’s my reaction too every time I hear him. I studied music at school In the 90’s and definitely remember the verse / chorus and key change structure when we had to compose our own music. The English songs are what introduced me to BTS and the subsequent rabbit hole. One thing I’ve noticed after watching this is how much their English pronunciation has improved over the last few years. Love your reviews. Keep them up 💜

Thank you for your reaction. I'm an older music lover from different genres. I'm 63. My first Korean musician I liked was/is Seo Taiji. He changed a lot in the Korean music industry. Then years later the first Korean musicians I liked again was/is BTS. They literally opened the doors for other Korean musicians. By some awards they have now K-pop awards. RM Suga JHope Jin Jungkook V Jimin are very different/unique with their own take on life. BTS inspired a lot of musicians too. At the moment while each BTS member is doing and going to do their mandatory military service other Korean musicians are following their example. BTS collaborated with UNICEF. This year another Korean group called Seventeen followed in their footsteps and collaborated with UNESCO Youth Forum. The Seventeen fans can tell you all about it. BTS was invited at the White House. This year year another Korean group called Blackpink (a female group who doesn't have mandatory military service) also followed in their footsteps. They were invited at Buckingham Palace. The Blackpink fans can tell you all about it. Yes, the BTS members love Micheal Jackson, but they also get their inspiration from other musicians and in return other musicians are getting inspired by them. I think you know what I'm saying. You being a musician yourself. It always starts with listening, enjoying, exploring, trying, creating, making your own. The reason why I like BTS is because, they can write, compose, produce and are also complimenting others who help them. They are story tellers. I like Nightwish (symphonic metal) they are story tellers too. Nightwish and BTS both totally different are unique, getting inspired by art, nature, poets, books etc. Well .... sorry, for the long story. Keep it going and succes with your channel. It took me a bit to get names right to so no worry. Also yes they do love MJ. This song has alot of MJ dances. A fact that the 40 year anniversary of thriller documentary has a side by side of MJs move with BTS and they mentioned BTS in the documentary. I think MJ would live and be proud of these guys. And would be honored as well. I'm happy they were mentioned and showed a side by side of them together were MJ is doing his moves and BTS is doing some moves in this video that pretty much match. Yes this was the song that got them their 1st grammy nomination and should of won. They had the numbers by a land slide but you know Scammies and all that. I enjoy watching you react to these guys. I see you really enjoy Jimins voice. My bias is Suga. His lyrics and delivery strikes right I the hearts he has a way to make you feel what he is feeling. Same as Jin tied bias because his passion way of singing just draws you in. But truly they all are. I can honestly say that finding BTS during Covid lockdowns not only kept me sane, but brought me so much joy. Look at how bright and cheery looking this video is, along with Permission to Dance and Butter, and even the somewhat melancholy Life Goes On. Knowing that they had to cancel their Map of the Soul tour in April, these songs were a real gift from BTS to ARMY, and new ARMY like me, to lift our spirits and go forward.

The 3 all english songs Dynamite, Butter and Permission to dance was made during pandemic just to cheer up Armys during lockdown, so it was upbeat songs whid easy dance. All 3 songs went in to nr 1 at Billboard but the have 3 moore nr 1 , and Jungkook and Jimin also got nr 1 at Billboard 100, the also have 6 nr 1 Albums at Billboard 200

Dynamite was to cheer up everyone around the world during the pandemic, and also should've won a Grammy to which many ARMY call the "Scammys" now because of the loss. Dynamite B-side MV is much more fun & can tell apart their personalities i beg as a musician you would be able to tell them apart by voices first than by their faces I agree, Jimin's voice got me first (& still got me now every time!) Please check out BTS's covers "Fix You" MTV unplugged)& "I will be missing you" BBC radio 1 (**they performed 4 songs from their 2020 "BE" album on MTV unplugged - Dynamite, Blue & Grey, Telepathy, Life Goes On, plus cover of Fix you, you can check them altogether. I feel like you’re one of the few people who’s reacted to this video without mentioning V’s green suit during the second chorus! It’s a very iconic look from this video, and the thing he does with the sleeves 😮‍💨 If you’re looking for the MJ flavour, the performance of “Dynamite” that they did for the Melon Music Awards (MMA) in 2020 includes an incredible dance break! The only bummer about that performance is that SUGA is missing because he was recovering from a surgical procedure on a longterm injury at the time, so there are only six members present, but you can really see the King of Pop and funky influences in that performance. J-hope and Jimin really take their dance leadership seriously in that one!

They do love MJ. There was a special fan concert for their 2018 Festa (their yearly debut anniversary celebration) where Jimin and JK danced to MJs Black & White. Dynamite is just a straight MJ tribute. The choreo makes that obvious. Also the outfits in their live performance for the 2020 MMAs are all rifs off some of MJs most famous looks. If you do watch their 2020 MMA performance, know that only 6 of them are present because this was when Suga had his long awaited shoulder reconstruction and he was recovering. But, as with all performances when he was missing, they did not fill his spot in the music nor choreo, and in fact often highlighted his place with a spotlight and left a space for him in their starting or ending lineup, etc., to show he was loved, missed and needed. Their choreography is often top-notch performance art storytelling with a lot communicated in the moves in regards to story, but in this case not as much. Here they are basically communicating a 70s and early 80s upbeat disco funk sort of joy of dance/being alive. The colors, fashion, sets, and other little choero shoutouts like to Kid 'n Play are all callbacks to this era. Even the filter on the camera. As someone who graduated HS in the 80s this all feels very nostalgic to me. This was their first all English track and was released during the pandemic as a mental health support song for ARMY and the world, meant to be pure, uplifting sugar. They were feeling very down and the world was suffering and, in true BTS style, they wanted to use their music to spread love and healing. They had no idea it would blow up like literal dynamite and get them their first BB Hot 100 #1 and they were completely shocked. It's so different to most of their deeper or more hip hop and R&B driven music and ARMY sometimes now get frustrated that, because it got so big, it is often the first song new people react to and think that this defines BTS, when really if any genre can be said to be an identifier to their style overall it's hip hop. In terms of their dance influences, they draw from many dance styles, but especially street and hip hop styles and contemporary. They also draw from many other styles such as jazz, swing, ballet, latin, classical, martial arts and traditional Korean styles, among others. Their dance fusion is really unique. This is probably the second song I saw and I was stunned. I was recovering from a very bad case of covid on a New Year's Eve. By three or four songs later I was Army. Just FYI, not all of us are MJ enthusiasts. I grew up in the 60's, early 70's. Classic rock, folk music, women. By the time he came along I was deep into my career and not really aware of him or any pop at all. I do resent somewhat all the comments from you and other reactors about him. BTS is unique, outstanding, incredible, and I think (pronounce->) gheon ghungoo will surpass him.
