Hoseok absolutely rocked with this album. Every single track portrays such a deep, and personal perspective of him and I'm totally in love with his point of view. The concept, the quality, the lyrics, the sincerity, the flavor, the creativity, the balance of the vibe, everything of JITB is top-notch. And saying it's totally self-composed enhances the value even more. He hasn't even done a collaboration with any track, literally, his whole album is his confession and declaration. He did such a great job for his first solo, starting so strongly and neatly. So proud of him. Thank you very much for the video.

This man is a dancer, rapper, singer, song writer, composer and producer, he have the second most amount of songs under his name in bts after RM, he self taught himself rap, and is a great artist overall, his stage presence is arguably the strongest in the group, people should stop sleeping on his talents and only talk about his personality!!✋😌

he did such a brilliant job with this album, the lyrics, the concept, the music, and to be able to say he wrote it entirely by himself just really enhances the fact that this is him being as open and honest as one can be

J-Hope's low voice, rhythmic sense, insightful lyrics, and yet a sense of hope peeking out from somewhere gave me a thrill after listening to the album after a long time. It's almost as if the whole album is one song. It seems that the length of the song was intentionally made short without being superfluous. Hoseok Jung is a perfectionist

Loved loved loved the whole stream! Made my Monday. Thank you Knox! Looking forward to your new music and thank you for giving me more to appreciate for this album. I love how rhythmic he is and the pockets he finds. Some of his older solos and music really show off his crazy cadence control and ad libs. His love of hip hop stems from that’s the music he learnt to dance on when he was a street dancer, so I guess that’s natural that his great sense of rhythm continues into his music! He’s absolutely a perfectionist too and I’m happy you could see how much work has gone into this one! Keep on going Knox and get those haters 😂😂

@therealchimshady84922 жыл бұрын
I didn’t comment here and I will for the algo!You’re insane! Where do I go from there!! The freestyle? The analysis?? You totally got the direction of the album from the first song. This album is in a completely different language and yeah, the lyrics are a hell of a step up from normal but it’s still hard to really translate that amazing lyricism. YET. Here you go and you approach it so unbiased (I really appreciate that btw) and with so much professionalism. I found this album really truly slapped on my 3rd or 4th listen! It did on first go aswell, but you gotta have that moment with it to play the whole way through. Feel that smooth flow you know. Hope you can find time to listen outside of here but Knox Hill you are the 🐐!!

Yeah I felt like this journey from j-hope makes absolute sense, even from his first album. He had some pretty dark lyrics there and I think this was just the right way to go. He's never "hidden" his true side but just shown different expressive emotions to what's happening in his life right now. Thought your comments were so on point and just helped me appreciate his music even more! Thanks so much!

Ahh and yes the algo and BTS thing lol…so YT have changed a lot of their rules and it’s very clearly to try and encourage companies/artist to pay for their ads (paid ads are a big reason as to how mv views get so high too - especially in Kpop) BigHit don’t pay for ads, and a lot of variables have changed so there’s higher filtering with quality views. But we figure it out and we move! Hope it hasn’t affected you too much! Seems better recently since ‘Run BTS’ I guess!

Fan fact: people should already realize that Kpop DOESNT mean pop or just popular music, kpop is all kinds of music genres which are popular all around the world and put to korean music industry, that is why kpop is so versatille and that is what makes kpop, that is also why all groups always have vocal and rap lines 🙂 Btw love your reactions Knox 🥰 always on point 👍
@therealchimshady84922 жыл бұрын
Well this album is actually is hip hop, not Kpop. Even BTS don’t really dabble in the way ‘Kpop’ is structured. I don’t diss Kpop at all, each to their own, but the reason I like BTS is for how they differ from those norms. Kpop for example doesn’t normally have a lot of substance in lyrics and tends to have a lot of highs and lows production-wise, like you said drawing from a lot of different genres. BTS tend to follow a hip hop base and beats and follow a different arc with their lyricism and production. I hope that doesn’t come across like I’m looking down on Kpop. I just think they’re quite separate and that’s a large reason why BTS have gone as far as they have and have such a huge fanbase. Imo anyway! We shouldn’t confuse the rappers hip hop mixtapes with Kpop, it’s an industry more than anything that BTS are sort of pulling away from.
@priiifrg2 жыл бұрын
1 - this is not kpop. 2 - you seem to think korean music = kpop, and that’s NOT the case. What we call kpop is what koreans call “Idol Music”.
@TrixieGoodsleeper2 жыл бұрын
Oke, okey, okey...if you think about it like that, got it 👍 This is just the perspective from Korean 😃 kpop for us means all kind of popular music from all artist in industry and also in idol groups, and always with little touch of traditional music (even just one track in whole album) But thats also why Kpop used to be criticized a lot in past 🙈 Like what I am trying to say is that Kpop is all kind of music with korean artist there is now genre such Krap or Krock or Khouse 😁 its all Kpop cause its popular and then we have only one extra and that is (ofc) Kpop Idol 🥳

He does not listen to the whole song, just hums along the part which he thinks is the Best, and basically just on youtube to beg for money from followers. His "breakdown" is just telling us things we already know. But i guess begging for money gets him more money than his music?
