BTS does a variety of genres. You should check out "Blood, Sweat & Tears", Black Swan, Fake Love, ON, Not Today, DNA, Idol, etc. You might want to check out some of these songs before you do the Guide. I'm glad you liked the first two songs.

They are supremely diverse and have a back catalogue of around 400 tracks not including the member’s solo work. If you use official MVs from big hit/hybe, play the video in it’s entirety including the into logo you will not get a copyright strike. That is the same for all of HYBE labels artists. The label wants reactors to discover and share their journeys with the artists. Yes you should definitely react to an introduction to BTS 7 members by Taylor as it will give you an overview of who they are and where they’ve come from plus teasers of a few tracks that you will definitely want to react to Enjoying your reactions and hoping for more 💜

Mic Drop is BTS' response to their haters with a little flexing on the side spitting facts...lol. with Suga's epic lines "tasteless ratatouille" & "sue it". I recommend you check their latest live performance of Mic Drop from their Yet To Come Busan concert last October where it was attended by 70k live audience and was livestreamed by over 50M worldwide causing the apps to crash from time to time. You will feel the same energy. 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

These guys sing solos, sub-units and all 7 together under BTS and they write, produce, direct many of their own music and sometimes even write & produce for other artists. They have storylines (called Bangtan Universe) that connect one album to the next album. They are very unique. They sing in all genres of music and the most of their songs have very deep meanings which sometimes require deep analysis of explanations. You will be surprised to find out from their discography how different and unpredictable each of their songs are.

The guide to the seven members of BTS by Taylor is the best one to watch and it’s accurate up until May 2022. Couple of suggestions: BTS solo music RM-Joke, Jhope- Arson and More, Suga aka Agust d , Daechwita and Haegeum BTS rap line -UGH and Tear and as a group Black Swan and ON kinetic manifesto.

Welcome to the rabbit hole that is BTS. There is K-Pop, and there is BTS. They are a genre all to themselves, with songs of every type and style. They came from a small company with no money and worked so incredibly hard to achieve the success they have today. BTS are without doubt a global phenomenon, spreading positivity across multiple ages and ethnicities. Their global success is not because they have some English words, rather the message in their lyrics: mental health, self-love, social commentary etc. Language is no barrier to the success of BTS and we ARMY will always support them together and individually. If you liked Mic Drop and are into rap, they have so much to offer as a group and individually as rappers RM, AgustD and J-Hope. TEAR and the Cypher songs are brilliant. Please explore their music and appreciate their brilliance.

Hi. Very good reaction. For you to continue discovering BTS and its versatility (like on a roller coaster) I would recommend Black Swann's MV that sails at the opposite end of Dynamite and Mic Drop. The particularity of the MV is that it is intensely artistic in all aspects (I think much more than any video I have seen and enjoyed). I try to recommend you tracks that don't match the above vibes so you can really enjoy this musical path. Good week.

Glad you enjoyed it 😊👍although their English lyrics may have contributed and their music is fire and so diverse..they are the biggest band in the world because they inspire millions because of their humble origins and succeeding despite being attacked and hindered by the industry (east and west) and xenophobia etc You’ll find out when you watch The Bangtan 7 😊

This is Mic Drop light as I like to refer to it as . I do enjoy the remix but I think the original goes much harder and it' also has extra intense dance breaks so seeing and hearing them do it live with that heavy bass is brilliant. Also seeing they do it at one of the Asian music award show's was premium high octane level.

There is a lot to see with BTS. Thanks for your reaction. I really like how you are checking out the lyrics because some of them run deep. Defintely check out more of the songs and they all have solo songs, and there are songs with just the vocalists and songs with just the rappers. I heard someone describe them as genre less and many people are quick to say they are pop because of k-pop. but k-pop is not pop; I think I am still trying to figure it out. lol. And their guide is great to find out more about the members and what the group stands for. I'll sunscribe!

Ok want diversity? Check out some rap - my fav is Outro Tear at Wembley, Latin pop - my fav is the Japanese version of Airplane Pt. 2, Jazz - House of Cards with English subs, 50s style almost doo wop - For Youth from Proof Live performance (along with Born Singer one of my favs). Oh & there's more. Keep exploring. And the reason they've gotten so big all over the world is not just because they throw in a little English - it's a combo of reasons - with over 300 songs in their discography across many genres everyone can find stuff they like. They have incredible lyricism & speak about many topics, amazing performers, crazy talented, a great underdog story, the heartwarming brotherhood they've formed despite being very different personalities, humble guys & funny as heck. You just can't walk away from watching them without feeling more joyful. Enjoy the ride.

BTS didnt write Dynamite but they wanted an English song to get into the US, because they are professionals they made a hit of it. They write and produce most of their songs and often their lyrics are very deep. MVs are always good and there is lots of money now but originally they nearly went bankrupt, and are only rich now because of BTS's massive worldwide success.

Fun reaction. Here is my list of recommendations: Agust D/Suga: haegum, deschwita, burn it, snooze, d-day, people (not people pt 2), intro shadow, the last, agust-d JK: still with you, euphoria live at wembley stadium, stay alive, my time live, seven V: sweet night, Christmas tree, singularity live, stigma live, inner child and his new album that drops september 8 (first 2 singles have music videos-love me again and rainy days) Jimin: set me free pt 2, like crazy, serendipity, filter, RM: uhgood, persona, everything goes, joke (for insane rapping skills but lyrically he is doing it as a joke to show the rappers that were hating on him that he could do everything they can only better) J-hope: more, arson, daydream, Jin: the astronaut, epiphany live, moon Rap line: outro tear live at wembley , ugh, ddang, cypher 2. Cypher 4 (all four cyphers are good though and the cypher medley live is good) Vocal line: house of cards, the truth untold, dimple live BTS: everything (just kidding, i will list a few but seriously if i even stuck to my favorites the list would be long so this is just a start) fake love (my first bts song) black swan, your eyes tell, on (both kinetic manifesto for incredible dance and the MV for some powerful symbolic messaging) mikrokosmos, we are bulletproof the eternal, make it right, heartbeat, boy in love, run bts (dance practice), blue and gray, not today Favorite live performances: MMA 2019 and 2018, outro tear at wembley, suga's entire d-day tour, tiny desk concert, hobie singing more at lalapaloosa, ddang, magic shop, your eyes tell in japan, born singer from proof Also, check out DKDKTV for explainer videos for Ddang and Ugh and the Bookish Theories channel for explainer videos for almost all BTS songs. If you are wondering if something means somethimg she will give you a breakdown to a level that will blow your mind. Two of the songs with the deepest symbolism in videos are spring day and blood, sweat, and tears. Those definitely need explainer videos. The best ones are not on either of the two channels that i mentioned. Spring day is about a tragic ferry incident in south korea where a ton of school kids drowned. Search for the explanation video made by italian army. Blood, sweat, and tears is based on the book damien and pretty much every item in the video means something. It isnt my favorite bts song but the symbolism in that video is mind blowing. Everything bts does is intentional and means something. My favorite explainer for it is by the don't worry i'm not afraid channel and the video is Blood, sweat, and tears: what does it all mean? Also i would recommend the explanation video by DKDKTV for Deschwita by Agust D.

Thanks for reacting! A good way to choose which songs to do initially would be to check out the popular videos on Hybe's channel. BTS currently has the top 28 (some are different versions of the same song). If you choose ON, you might prefer the Kinetic version over the original. They do have many great songs that aren't in that grouping, though. Most likely because there isn't an official video. Run BTS is a good example. To watch that song, you will have to find a live performance or the dance practice. One note to make, Run and Run BTS are two different songs. Both are good though.

bts was always an alien in the klop industry and the music industry in general, they started as nobodies as underdogs signed to a tiny broke label and spend half their career grinding and getting sabotaged by the big corrupt labels that spawned groups like blackpink. their meteoric rise to fame was unplanned and basically a fluke. their early albums and songs that slowly grew their loyal fanbase in western countries were never targeted for these countries in stark contrast to most kpop groups. six out of seven bts member didnt speak a lick of english most their career and barely do to this day while the big three kpop companies specifically casted people that can speak english and appeal to global audiences. bts was not created that way. what got through was their unusual sincerity, their unusual character, lyrics and music
