Informative & relaxing! Our own garden pond is structurally fragile has had no working pump for months - basically 2 large green puddles 😒 We need to renovate but don't want to disturb the newts.....

Thanks Nicky for your comments. I have the same problem with my larger pond, and sometimes use the newts as an excuse for not cleaning it out.

I love bubble science! We used to use a layer of bubbles in a tray with children to explain why beeswax is the shape that it is as the bubbles join up 😊

Thank you for your comments. Bubbles can be a fun way of introducing children to science. Although I have only just scratched the surface I find bubble science fascinating, with facts like the 120 degree intersection angle and the formation of hexagons as nature always tries to find the most energy efficient way of doing things.

Maurice Baker I'm with you there! They're a brilliant way of getting adults into science (like yourself). We all love bubbles and the science behind them is an excuse to play!

Thank you Jennie, my little blue tit is still going strong as well. The berry and bugs suet is what I always use, all the birds seem to like it.

Yes, she loves the bugs and berries suet, and also the peanuts, sunflower seeds, peanut butter and wild berries from M&S ...lol! The amazon delivery man calls me by my first name now I have so much bird food coming lol ... but I don't care, I just hope they all make it through the winter.
