Hi @Ceemarak8, thanks so much for watching and for your recommendation to visit Punchbowl. We are currently researching it and might do a food tour there later on in the year. Any particular restaurants you recommend?

Thanks for the heads up! Bankstown has been an stretch to far previously from where I live on the Lower North Shore, but I’ve just recently “discovered” bits of it, and I’m super-excited for the Metro to get there as my local station is only a 10 minute walk and then a direct train there! It’ll be awesome when that happens!

Nice! Yes, we reckon Bankstown is very underrated and were blown away with the food scene there. The metro is going to do wonders for it. Thanks for watching!

Hi 🤗! Wondering if there's public transport from Sydney center to the bankstown area. Looks like a neat place to have som eats. 😋
@BucketListTravellers6 ай бұрын
Hi @connieg7692, there certainly is public transport. Normally there is a train all the way to Bankstown from the city, but they are doing track upgrades. So what you will need to do is take the train to lidcombe, then get on a bus (that city rail provide) to Bankstown station. Thanks for watching and enjoy your own foodie tour in Bankstown!!

Have to ask this when was this video put online I am asking as you mention bananas in Bankstown at $1 Australian per kilogram. When was this? I have not seen bananas at anywhere near that price for years and I live in Sydney.

That’s the best Bahn mi in Sydney I reckon mate.. Bankstown
@BucketListTravellers6 ай бұрын
Hi @wazzasometings5469, we love a good banh mi and the one we tried here was definitely a contender! We always assumed that the best banh mis would be in Cabramatta, but now not so sure. Thanks for watching!
@wazzasometings54696 ай бұрын
@@BucketListTravellers Cabramatta too light on vegetables, and some have too much but I think Bankstown gets it right… Top Bakery in Ryde too much fillings drowns the flavour lol

You sound like you know your Banh Mi's! Thanks for sharing. We've considered doing a 'top 5 Banh mis in sydney' video. Where outside bankstown would you recommend? We'll try Cabramatta, but not sure elsewhere.

It is ridiculous to expect Sydney to be like some third world nation you have been hanging around in. Do you expect their wages, infrastructure and social conditions as well?

Hi Peter, thanks for watching. Funnily enough, our internet speeds in Nicaragua were better than our home internet in Sydney 4 years ago. I definitely didn't expect that!
