I keep coming back to this one Buckin. Love it. Not many out there who could take something this big out with a bang, without having to rig the entire thing out. Its a great vid, and some first class tree work my friend 👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦🇦🇺🇦🇺🇨🇦👍🏻👍🏻

I enjoy watching you do a great job, love the sound of those Mac's. They don't sell them when I live here in the states, I used a old Mac clearing building lots, not clear cut, saved the good trees, they add to the property. One Mac was a 250 and ran like it was briggs powered, Just start it cutting and let it eat its way thru.it'll get it done. I like your be kind, lets keep it that way, lifes to short. That sure was one big tree and dropped right where you wanted to go, awesome.

That vise was a sweet score! I tried to buy one like it at a yard sale last month. Marked $25.00 American. Offered fifteen. Woman said she couldn't take less than a hundred! I'm like "WTF?!! -- It's marked 25!!" Seems as if the gentle lady bought it at another yard/estate sale and forgot to remove the original price tag and was out to make some lucre at my expense. So I spun on my heel and left. Got a can of gas later and burned her house down. Just kidding. Did make me angry though. Great vid, Buckin! Keep 'em comin'!!

Had to do a double take when you said you were cutting a cedar.... in Cedar. I'm Cedar B.C. born and raised but I've been in the interior now for 35 years. It's good to see a Cedar boy doing well! Nice work on the tree too. I'm awaiting my portable mill so I'm doing the ol' KZbin tree falling, bucking, cutting binge watching stuff.

I have learned more watching your videos than all other tree cutters' videos combined. I am always amazed at how deep your front cut is into those big trees. And then how deep you have to cut from the back side before they will fall. Apparently, ten percent of the wood will still hold a tree up. I'm trying to learn enough so I am confident I can cut down two trees near my house. One leans toward the house. I have an old Poulan 16 inch chainsaw I bought back in 2002. I cut up a few trees, after the ice storm in 2008,. None were big, 16 inch max., and I didn't have to worry about them hitting anything but the ground. I don't know all the techniques to make a tree fall exactly where you want to so I have been watching your videos. Thanks for all the tips. You explain things well.

Cool vid Buckin'...could almost smell the aroma here in Washington...think John was right I felt it fall. Good length for this one...just wanted to spend more time with that 850 right...go ahead admit it? OBTW I was trying to find a PM1000 cylinder like John about a year ago and got this cylinder, not a pm1000, and thought you might have a need for it. It's a MAHLE V 52ZN11 on one side of the cylinder and 340835 A W1 on the other. Has a compression release and is 2.02 in. dia. not sure what model it fits, its yours if you want it...or anyone else.
@madhatte737 жыл бұрын
if it's the same ID as a PM1000, it's probably from the earlier R40. That's a rare one.
@tomandrene7 жыл бұрын
madhatte73 The IDs are different and the dia is smaller unfortunately. It looks like there may be a lot of Macs up Buckin's way...I may have to check out what I can find up there. I really do like these Macs...kinda like once you ride a Harley nothin' else compares.

I love ❤️ all your videos Brotha 💪👍👊✊️!! Love Axes and chainsaws and anything with motors! I have an old Mac chain saw like yours and it was my dads but now it's mine and I have taken care of her and got her going again but the only problem I have now is that I need a new coil for her! When the motor gets hot and if you turn her off and go to restart her up it when she's still warm she don't like to fire 🔥 back up unless she's cooled down completely! Carb is rebuilt and a crapy aftermarket fuel line set up is on her because I can not find a new original fuel line set up! It will do and she would be perfect if I got her a new ignition coil!! Do you know where I can get one ???? I will never get rid of her ! I don't care if I have to hang her on the ceiling and just look at her! But she just sounds so Bad Ass when Fired up just Braaaaaaapen away !! One mean bitch at full throttle for a 2stroke ⛽️⛽️👊! I think it sounds 🔊 better then my Harley Davidson Twin cam motor! I run AMSOIL Dominator oil mix on my Mc with Ethanol free 100 octane CAM2! What a sweet smelling exhaust she makes!! Zeeeaaaaahh!! 👍! I also just got a pretty cool hand forged Axe/Hatchet from Portugal 🇵🇹 and it says GAMA on the head. Pretty cool and feels so nice on the hand 🤚. I can show you if needed? The chainsaw and the Axe. I also have a Axe project that I would like your help with your recommendations! I will be starting out with a all new short Stihl Axe . I'd like to thin the handle a little and maybe put a better arch on the bottom so less chance of my hand 🤚 slipping and maybe take the new original paint off the head and putting a patina on her and some help on how to sharpen it and where to buy the best sharpening tool kits to own and use?? Thank you for your time!
