Hey Buckin’, I saw the “Vatca” in the hardware store today. The dark walnut came straight home with me. I went with my daughters down to the creek where I christened the axe with some Oak and Sycamore. I followed your instructions and sharpened it and it didn’t disappoint. I packed out some foot long, 5 inch rounds of deadfall oak that I cut with the axe. They’ll be cut smaller for the fire pit. Won’t buy grocery store greasewood (we’re in So Cal); I’d rather cut my own. Keep up with the positive vibe!!!

I’ve started going back and watching them a second time some of them and since I started following you about I year ago I’m trying to go through and watch all your content cause it’s so good and you have such a great message of kindness. I love watching you run the pro macs in the wood. The first saw I ever used was a 10-10 with a 24 inch bar that was my grandpas and I’d love to have that old saw but when he passed they all go sold off and I was not able to get one. That elm makes a beautiful axe handle. It’s tough too. I’ve burned some elm firewood over the years and it’s a bear too split. It’s the only wood I use my hydraulic splitter for anymore.
