Perhaps the OSU athletic department should contact the NCAA’s Steve Shaw regarding the lack of integrity regarding Officiating in the playoffs, including non-calls against Ohio State opponents.

It's true. So many questionable calls against the buckeyes when they play in the playoffs.. esp when they play against Clemson & SEC teams a few years ago.

I was at the Wisconsin game in 2014. I was also at the Rose Bowl game last week. Both of those games were over before the ball kicked off. It’s that kind of momentum.

My major fear is that a plainly wrong call will cost the Buckeyes the national championship, as it did when they played GA, and more recently, deprived ASU of a victory over Texas on the obvious targeting that was intentionally not called. Something had to be done to improve the quality of officiating!

As Ohio State Buckeyes fan I was happy Norhem Irish beat Georgia Bulldogs, the sec , sec sec is picking on the Big 10 and Big 12 n Acc

The biggest worry to me for this buckeye team in the semi final is inconsistency. If they play with the same mindset & intensity like they played in the last 2 games, they will win by 3 TDs. If they are back to stupidity like they played vs TTUN, they'll lose. My another worry is the refs who will normally make questionable calls against the buckeyes when they play in playoffs.

The holds during Oregon’s first TD drive to end the first half was insane. It was like the refs were trying to help Oregon get back in the game. Don’t think the calls will get any better for a home game against the SEC darlings in the semifinals. They don’t even call targeting against the SEC. Not going to get holding calls.

great show- concerning refs, don't you guys think that refs should have to give post-game conferences? I mean, coaches have to do and so do players. Why are the refs given immunity from public questioning when they often affect the games so much? and wouldn't it create more interest in the game and give the refs a chance to explain/defend their work?

How do they keep the edge? They haven’t won anything yet. We play Texas. If that goes well they get another game. You media guys are talking about this team like it’s a given they win it all. I just hope the team ignores this ‘suck fest’ that’s going on right now.

I wish that Larry could get more out of the backups on the defense line, I feel like these guys aren’t helping the starters because of their play on the field!! They look bad, I have faith in McDonald will come around. But the rest just seem like they’re just bodies on the defense line? These guys are going to be starters next year, maybe not if they can’t get onto the field now because of their subpar play?

Backups on the defense line need to get going, there’s no reason why our starters should be playing all of those minutes!! McDonald, Moore, Kanu, Smith Jr all need to play better. It’s sad to think that most of these guys are going to be starters next season, can’t hardly do a good enough job to come in late in the game!. I’m a little disappointed in those guys, thought that some would be helping this team by now!!!

Let’s not forget Oregon WR Stewart who roasted OSU in first matchup got injured in pregame warmup and sat out game and Oregon star RB only played 2 series and sat out rest of game - would have been close game with those 2 had they played…

Didnt realize those guys played defense. 34 points before the end of the second quarter. Second half was just a game of keep away. Could have been over 50 clearly. I doubt it would have been close.
