I love these older vids! The newer ones are well edited and lovely too, but these feel more unfiltered and authentic, like I’m getting the real experience w a range of emotions that one goes through while traveling. To me it’s just a little more fun to watch 🙃

Szechenyi Spa is THE place to go for the true Budapest experience. I did have some trouble getting the bracelet to work... many of the lockers were not functioning properly, and nobody spoke English. They just give the bracelet to you and you're just supposed to know how to use them. I did figure it out though.

So I know this is like three years too late but I have one of those inflatable couches and LOVE THEM. I’ve found the easiest way to inflate them is setting it on the ground and then taking one end and flapping it like frantically opening and closing a sandwich bag. Flip and repeat. Then boom, done!

If I understand correctly, in the Middle Ages those baths were both coed and unclothed, and were a major pick-up destination. Many cities also had such baths on a smaller scale. The reason that you hear about the Church deploring bathing was because of this--bathing was not considered the same as washing.

I called Verizon yesterday thinking I would have use my insurance and pay the deductible. But Verizon is overnighting me a replacement iPhone. Tbh it was too easy to have them send a new phone.
