@@whitegoodman7465 You're going to want a computerized radio to be able to really tune any RC model to your personal settings. My limited background is with Spektum. After getting acquainted with OpenTx I can't imagine ever going back to a proprietary protocol (Spektrum, Futaba, etc) radio. I'm not writing off Radiomaster, there are A LOT of people (including me) that like the TX16S. Just be aware of the known issues. Would I buy a TX16S if I had to do it all over again? Yes. @@trd4runner3l What screen do I go to in order to make these changes to the gyro settings? thank you
@scatteredparts2963 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I just rewatched and saw where to edit the gyro settings. Thanks again for these videos. I am new to openTx and its a learning curve for sure. Your videos make it seem not so intimidating.

Now you have used both protocols (OMP & Futaba) Which do you recommend SFHSS or OMP?
@BuddyRC4 жыл бұрын
More recent video goes over the differences between the protocols on the m1. And really it's dependent on the person flying. One is easier to setup but limits flexibility (omp). Whereas the other allows you to set your own curves and have more control of the flight experience.
@FlyingPanMan3 жыл бұрын
@@BuddyRC Yeah, I just discovered that. However, is it possible to use a SFHSS receiver plugged into the OMP board. That would be the best of both worlds?

Thanks again for this video, I got my Radiomaster 16 yesterday and this morning i watched this video while i programmed my radio.. Just came in from a test flight everything seemed to work fine.. Only thing about this radio with it only going to 100% its 100% must = spektrums maybe 75% cause my Throttle curves were way to high sitting them at the same as i had on my DX8. same with dual rates i guess cause i had 125% on my DX8 and this one will only go to 100%.

Great Videos! i just have a small issue, i have been failing to setup my M2 v2 with the internal RX with my TX16S running EdgeTX. Just got the radio and struggling, do you have a base model file I can install and try? Stuck on this for 2 weeks now
@BuddyRC2 жыл бұрын
The TX16S comes preloaded with a model for the M2
@phillipal-redha49102 жыл бұрын
@@BuddyRC I have tried that with the internal omp RX and nothing is working. I have done a basic setup using my JR 12x knowledge on a plane setup and most imputs working for now. Massive dead spots and crazy gyro outputs

@@phillipal-redha4910yeah, I was trying to use the pre loaded m2 on my edge TX, and it seems ....not right. And bo stability which is necessary for me, lol. Have you figured it out ?

Hey! I'm using EDGE TX + M1 EVO. There's no arrows when it comes to reversing channels. Any idea? Additionally, any changes for M1 EVO? Thanks!

In mixes select the channel you want to reverse and put the weight to minus 100

Hi! Do I need to buy a receiver if I want to buy the TS16S with the OMP M1?
@BuddyRC Жыл бұрын
The Tx16s has multi protocol, you should be able to bind right up to the Tx16s. You will need to set up the heli in the radio. Hope this helps.

Followed the instructions 100%, but when I test Gyro on N/F1/F2, it's reversed from what you show. That is, -100% on Flight Mode 1 + 2, +100% on normal. Is this because I'm using EDGE TX?
@BuddyRC2 жыл бұрын
Just reverse it.

I set my QX7s pretty much exactly how you have this in the video but I didn't realize until the end that you were using the futaba protocol. I"m using the OMP built in receiver. So of course mine is all jacked up and nothing is correct. How would your setup need to be changed to work with the OMP protocol? The channel order is CH1 CH2 CH3 CH4 CH5 CH6 CH7 A E Thr. Pitch R Thr. Hold Idle Mode with the exception of A, E, R the rest is entirely different from this video and nothing works right. Do you have another video that applies this same setup for the Omp protocol? I don't want to use an ext Rx as it just adds weight and clunkyness with the xtra wire etc.
@BuddyRC4 жыл бұрын
If you're using the omp protocol built in rx check my other video.
