Hey guys! So for everyone who says I need to post more, let me give you a full explanation of why it takes so long So obviously I have to buy the car and fix it all up and sell it which takes some time. filming each step of the way literally doubles the time it takes to finish a project. I want to make sure the lighting is good as well as the angle of me working on the car or truck is a good angle that you guys can clearly see what I'm doing. Now, lets get to the whole content creation part. So first thing I have to organize my entire process I use to fix the car. So I start by writing down the money invested chart down on paper as well as the to-do check list. Now its time to make the script. Word for word i plan out the best way to tell the story of this car, from the ad listing, to the inspection to the buying process, to fixing the issues, to the selling, profit margin, and everything in between. Now while i do this i try my best to be short and sweet without adding too much filler and still giving my entire thought process every step of the way. The point is to teach you guys something and still be entertaining. There's a fine line i have to dance on between over explaining and being concise. I take my time of this part because this lays down the entire video and everything is made around the script. It's a lot of words. imagine how many words 30 mins of straight talking is. Now its time to do the voice-over, this takes a solid day. Alot of the time while i read the script i stumble over my words so it needs to be edited. I also try and edit the audio quality so my voice sounds clear and the volume is even throughout the entire video. now tos time to lay down all the clips of me fixing the car along with making graphs, charts, and graphics to organize everything so now the big question "why don't you hire an editor?" well only I know the entire story of every vehicle I fix. It involves hours of recording and by the time I'm ready to make the video i have sooo many small clips of the restoration process. Id say 70 different clips minimum. I over-record so I know I have enough video that I can use to best show you guys how I fix everything every step of the way. I piece them all together to fit the voice-over perfectly. Now if I had an editor they would need to have extensive knowledge in cars. I can't explain to the editor "in this small clip for timestamp 20:35 im pulling out the fuel pump and that small part is called the float of the fuel pump" ect, ect. you get what I'm saying. Finding an editor i trust that cares about my videos as much as me that ALSO would be able to take a clip of me fixing something and know exactly what I'm doing to be able to take a clip and piece it together to match the voice over perfectly is not easy to find. SOOO many hours goes into these videos. I make sure these videos are as close to perfect by being engaging as well as informational for you guys. Quality control is super important to me! I also have a jewelry business i take care of as well as a few side hustles I do outside of KZbin so i can pay my bills since i dont have a 9-5. And of course i try to have social life and a i have long time girlfriend I got to make time for to keep happy lol hope this answers a lot of questions! best way to support me is Patreon if you want to leave a tip my cashapp is $Steliosm

As a DIY youtuber myself, I feel your effort so much!!! it also takes ton of try and error to understand the best way for YOU to edit and film a video. I just recently found out that the voice-over should be the first part and after that the footage. and to write the story-line is really a tricky one, when we have a hard time 'competing' on viewers' time (considering the shorts, reels...) we must be interesting and valuable in every second. thanks for the videos, I like watching them so much, and always support your channel as best as I could. thanks also for that long detailed comment of how you make these videos.

I respect it bro, i recommend you start using AI for ur workspace, like include chatgpt for ur scripts. You can send ur vid hyperlink and tell it to mimik the script but with ur details. That way the videos will be much more consistent. Hope you understand 🫡👋♥️

@@SilasEstrada i totally get that, and that's why im recommending getting an editor. I know buddy edits his videos himself which seems like so much headache. Getting an editor to get the videos done will lift off a lot of the worry. His videos get great views. If he can be more consistent (posting one every 2 months), i think he can really gain a lot of success from youtube because this format is precious.

@@reeng. I think you are mistaking my point, getting an editor could prove to be a really good investment. Because that can help him make videos with greater speed and consistency. And since his videos seem to get so popular, it is only for the better. And yes, im asking him for my pleasure, there's no denying, his videos are that good. 😂

This is my favorite channel for car flipping videos being a car flipper myself even though you upload rarely - Glad you give a little detail on how the selling process can be with buyers when a car is posted for sale online, some people can be really frustrating and occasionally you gotta take a little less just to ease the headache and move the metal lol - I always recommend spending the few bucks to take newer vehicles like this that are in good condition to their respective dealership for an oil change too (if possible), mainly because I've had many buyers, particularly women, who find comfort seeing that little sticker in the windshield showing it was "dealer" serviced - And I also recommend running a CarFax report and posting a screen shot in the listing (assuming it's a good one with no accidents and a limited amount of previous owners lol), some KZbinrs even have CarFax as a sponsor and offer a discount to viewers - Hope to see more flipping success stories like this from the channel!
