A ten minute slow walk from IT Park for less than $300. Very interesting for my October 2024 arrival.

Stayed at LaGuardia flats II several times. Love the location. I'm intrigued at the new developments up the road in Busay which still has easy access to Lahug. Not crazy about staying in a place with less than 30SQM.

there are options Joe. Some of the older condos, over 10 years old still offer more space.

Yeah, less than 30 sqm reminds me of the old saw, “It was so small I had to go outside to turn around.” I once had a hotel room in Hong Kong for a month that really did fit that description. lol

@@AmazingPhilippines1Yes, but do those older condos have fast fiber internet. Sub 25MBPS just doesn't cut it.

nice to see cheaper options for condos. was wondering, electric requirements for electronics. would it be good idea to bring a couple of converters for american electronics using 115vac vs 220. seems the kitchen would have the proper plugs, but are there any other 115vac plugs in the condo such as the bedroom or living room, or even the cr.

Thanks James. Most all electronic gadgets, cell phones, computers etc are dual voltage 110 to 220V and work fine here. USA 110 v tools or appliances are the problem and would require a stepdown converter. My experience is that there are often fewer "plugs" than one would expect so I have often had to use a good extension cord.

I think it would be of interest if you would say in your videos why you decided to move from the condos.

.Good point. Street noise was the issue here Thomas. It bothered my sleeping.

Ya that 3KLStar Reality site was last updated 2015 i think. The Trovit site is pretty good, no private sales listed there, only commercial builders postings listed there. Wish I could buy a condo at 2015 Prices (shakes head). Good video, like that roofdeck at Edades. Thanks, Rod...Jim

It is a good research tool to find out how prices have risen Jim.

Great video, I'm doing some initial research on a longer stay in the Philippines. I first visited about 4 years ago including Cagayan de Oro, Camiguin Island, and Cebu. When I visited Cebu, I stayed in the Griffin Hotel, which was great, but this time I'm interested in staying a month at least.

Most condos do not have balconies here.

Well… I mean… large closets anyway. But still… no more than concrete shell echo chambers with zero asthetic, and zero personality. Kind of like the drive in storage facilities with the electric entrances gates and guards!😊

I have been a bit surprised at how many foreigners have told me they live in very small apartments in their home countries also....but these are small David.
