Another flower tip. When you bring any flowers home fill up the sink with water, trim the stems for a fresh bottom cut. Submerge then soak flowers in sink for 1-3 hours. Shake off excess water and arrange. The water soak will extend the life for a least a week. That’s why flower shops store their flowers in tubs of water

Kimberly, you are a true California girl. I have learned a lot about skincare! Thanks!! I am a Carolina girl and have grown up in this farmland State. I trust our farmers to take care of our supply of food. Enjoy our wonderful peaches and abundance of produce grown by all of our farmers. Thankfully, we leave our food produce up to the farmers and not the government. Can you see a difference in our way of life as opposed to California? So glad you chose the South. 😃ps I thought of the canvas hack, but couldn't get it into my car! Great idea!!!

One way to disguise the breaker panel is to wrap your curtains around in that corner. It would give the illusion of larger window.

I'm enjoying watching you set up this cute little house! I have a suggestion on how to cover that breaker panel...if it were me I'd extend the window treatment to round the corner. It would create a cozy look, make it appear as if there were a window there instead of an unsightly breaker box, as well as make the room appear larger. Just my thoughts! Have a wonderful day xo

Maybe a decorative ornamental tie back on the far side of the breaker box, pull the fabric all to that side to tuck in the holder and hiding the box. Sometimes Amish folks will swag their drapes/curtains towards the same side on all of their windows -- so different and interesting.

Looking good. One day at a time... One bit of advice; make sure that your refrigerator does not put out heat on the side. Hopefully it's insulated enough so that it won't affect your plants and also with your beautiful cut flowers, clip lower leaves to keep them out of water. They will last longer and won't rot as quickly. Keep up the good work...enjoy watching!

If you can borrow or buy a 6' or 8' folding table or 2, that would give you a temporary working surface and/or a way to get some essentials off the floor to save your back and keep things more accessible and organized. That would also give you some temp storage area underneath the table. I had one made available to me when I moved into my condo with no furniture other than my bed frame and mattress & box springs. It was a godsend! The family who owned it used it as an additional dining table for larger gatherings. Home Depot has them. Not very expensive ($65 for the 6' approx) and you could easily sell or donate them when you no longer need them. Many churches have them, too. The flower arrangement is a lovely touch. Keep smiling!

Love these vlogs, Kimberley. I'll be tuning in to see if the vitamin B helped reduce the bug bites 🙂 How brave you are to move and do all this on your own. Not many would have the strength, both physical and mental! I adore animals so it was nice to see both dog and cat roaming around. I'm sure they've helped you settle in more than you realise. Regarding Reiki, I trained in it and used it for a while, however it wasn't until I watched Doreen Virtue and her testimony that I just 'knew' I was going down a dangerous road with that (and my crystals). I am now a Christian and the feeling of lightness is incomparable to what I was before. Don't want to preach to you but maybe check it out when you get a chance, one never knows how much time one has left on this wonderful earth. Xx
