It is good to see that the price of LifePo4 batteries had come down quite a lot. That battery is still way too big and expensive for me but I think some of their smaller batteries look very interesting and are better value. You can get the 100ah batteries for $240 so that works out at $2.4 per amp. The bigger 200ah battery is $560 so $2.80 per amp.

Great video. Wondering it’s been a few months and if you have used the battery and what for and how it fared? I’m researching to upgrade my RV from AGM 100ah (x2). Thanks!

I’ve been seeing your videos a lot lately, and they’re really great and fair. I also have a product that I would like you to help me make a video about. It is designed for marine and outdoor use, is compact and portable, has a waterproof rating of IP65, comes with an Anderson waterproof head, USB, PD, M8 terminal, and GX16 charging port. Don't know if you are interested.

I like this method of checking for low temp charging vs busting a battery open and dipping the sensor in salted ice water.

Thiis is exactly the video I wanted! Bought a 12v 100Ah Redodo mini in Dec, very happy with it. Was considering this 200Ah. This is a great size for any truck camping 2nd battery setup, and the low temp is good for that uninsulated scenario.

awesome video ! Would you also happen to have links to the charger you used for charging the battery as well as the watt hour tester you used at the beginning of the video ? Thanks !

I have some 100ah REDODO batteries. Good stuff. I wonder what, as they pronounce it as letters, the O.D.O. stands for?

What amp battery charger do you typically use? Do you have any videos on that ?
@ReeWrayOutdoors5 ай бұрын
For 12V I typically use a 20A charger to charge off of AC. Other than that, I will rely on solar charge controller at between 30-40A

Im guessing Redodo sells a 200 Ah battery with a 200 Ah BMS?
@ReeWrayOutdoors5 ай бұрын
Yeah they have a Plus version that has 200A BMS, but not LTCP.

They do have a 200A BMS version but I don't think it has the built-in LTCP
