the irony is that you are trying to do old money the thrifty one when the name literally means type of wealth where it's all in the subtle details. so rich they don't even care to show it but the quality gives it away in those subtle details. there is no "affordable" way to old money. that's a contradiction

Nothing old money about that. I.e. wood frames are much more old money than spray paint gold.
