I found a great keyboard for $55.99 on Amazon. The BOYI C75 Pro. Sounds great. North facing led which I’m ok with since I can’t find many shine thru keycaps to go on south facing and my daughter wants a pink set. Personally I think $100 is too much for a keyboard. $50-$75 seems like a good compromise. I’ll check it out when it arrives today. I have to change out switches and keycaps. It has TFT screen and a small knob. Plus you can bundle it like I did on a promo with a sick looking numpad for $79.99. The numpad (retail $49.99) also has a screen which is pretty cool. They both look pretty sweet together.

What do you think is the best budget wireless 60% or 75% keyboard that has the best mix of thock and battery life?
@orellinvvardengra677516 сағат бұрын
If they’re listening to you tell them to pack their stuff better please! Epomaker sent me the galaxy 70 for review and that thing was mangled. Fixed it, but it shouldn’t have shown up busted in its generic box plus a single…shipping bag with no bubble wrap, no peanuts. Just a board with about 7 busted switches, one of which was visible as soon as I unboxed it. Good keyboard, crappy shipping.

I reviewed the P75 when it first came out and was impressed. II have all the other new 75% except for 1 and it's definitely not a as flashy as some, not as easy to mod as others but the RGB is good and I do think if you can find it on sale it is one of the better options for those who just want something to work. Nice video as always!

Hello Hipyo, recently buyed a very cool prebuilt keyboard from France ! It has prelub switches, gasket mount, pbt keycap and look very clean ! For 139 euros ONLY ! Take a loot at it : Designed by GG Berserker It is in my opinion, the best prebuilt budget keyboard you can have atm, the only thing is it's an Azerty layout, don't think it exist in qwerty yet, but I guess you can modify it !

One thing that drives me nuts with both my Cidoo v75 and my aula f75 is that in wireless mode the knob rotation does not wake the keyboard, and the other keys that wake it end up losing the keypress. Very annoying after using the mouse for a while / watching something then trying to change volume / alt-tab etc. I'm not sure why this is the case, and my old logitech 915tkl did not have this issue. Is this how all non-logitech wireless keyboards work or have I just gotten unlucky? Is this something that could be fixed by firmware? Thanks!

I had, and returned, the p75. Aesthetically, i loved it. It was LOUD but I liked the sound. But the software was painful. At first, it wouldnt connect at all. I ran a firmware update that just GOES after you click the exe with no actual user prompt or information before it does anything. Then it would connect on some, but not all, of my USB ports. And when it finally did ... more jank. Like the RGB layouts were misnamed so that what was called responsive (IIRC) just lit all keys, and what appeared to be the setting for a static all-keys backlight didn't work. Back to Amazon.
@iamshabingusКүн бұрын
This is why you don't trust sketchy brands like Epomaker
@LouisHochmanTheJournoКүн бұрын
@iamshabingus At the time, I didn't know how sketchy they were. It doesn't help that YT channels (like this one) that otherwise have a lot of good information have so many sponsored showcases of their products, even if they're (like this one) somewhat critical. It contributes to the impression that they're a reasonable option.
@dumbledoratheexplora1140Күн бұрын
It would be cool of keyboard companies experimented more with ergonomics and layout since it feels like a lot of budget keyboards look about the same
@alieffauzanrizky7202Күн бұрын
Good ergonomics such as split keyboards are still fairly expensive since there's not enough demand to make a huge bulk of it to press down the price. Though Feker (the same Feker that does a collab with epomaker) once made an Alice80 which iirc cost around $85 but from their website it has been out of stock since last year.
@dumbledoratheexplora1140Күн бұрын
@@alieffauzanrizky7202 I know a lot of people tend to make custom ergonomic keyboards and 3d print the cases, and it being out of stock could indicate that it's an untapped market, but I could be wrong.

Tbf is you're looking s already build one you the cheapest one i could fine that doesn't suck is one from the brand Havitt, i had it myself and. It works, kt doesn't have gasket, is not wireless, you cannot reprogram it, but it cost $30, and is a mechanical keyboard with (i assume) red brand-off cherry keycaps, that's about the best i coudl find for a lower price. Now, im thinking of building one and, my brother, the best part about building one is that you don't have to spend the whole budget at once, i just bought the switches for 13 dollars, then next month I'll buy the other set of switches bc one wasn't enough, with the keycap and then finally the barebones which is the expensier part, yes it will take time, no you will not be able to use it immediately, but that the good part of building your own.
