Great job, it may be better to shorten the shaft out of the steering box, there is a lot of unsupported shaft sticking out of the box at the moment, there will be a lot of load on the bearings in the box, only a thought,, keep the videos coming 😊

Hi, thanks for the comment. You read my mind actually, and I’ve already asked Steve to make me a split bush which will attach to the box, and help support the shaft sticking out. Cheers

Great video again, can't wait to here this run. You are bang on with your idea for the steeering. Center the steering box so that that lever arm is where it should be to straight ahead driving and then shorten the drag link to suit. Job'll be a good'un !

Nice work! It looks like the top U-joint is almost straight. If you would put the hole in the firewall a little lower ( so the steering Wheel would be angled more upwards) would get better clearence for headers and a better angle on the lower u-joint. So more angle on the upper u-joint to get less angle on the lower one?

Thanks! I did stare at it for a long time. 🤣 Also, I was trying to leave space for the pedals (very tight in that area), and also have the steering wheel at a comfortable angle etc. Many thanks for the comment, much appreciated. Cheers.
