Love how you are being transparent with how emergencies arise unexpectedly that require us to pivot at times with our financial goals. I also am from NC and that storm on Tuesday was a lot! It reminded me that I need to continue to contribute monthly to an additional household fund. Thankfully we have an emergency fund. But I’d like to have a buffer house fund that we contribute to long term that takes care of issues like you just mentioned. Bc with being homeowners it’s inevitable that something will happen house related. Love the channel and your videos!

So sorry about the roof! Life always happens when we least expect it. We have t-mobile and Netflix and Apple TV are included with our service with an additional $30/month for 5G home internet. Might be an option to look into if they service your area :)

Peleton should be temporarily cancelled because you can workout to free KZbin videos and some have the same type of content.

I need to check Netflix because I think it’s included for a smaller few with my cellphone and internet service. Great budget breakdown and thanks for sharing.

We are also doing a low spend/no spend year. My husband works much less in winter so our January budget looks very grim. Our goal for January/February is to keep our heads above water somehow.

Your watch is just 🤩 🥰🥰 can you please show and tell details in next video? awesome job ! It will take few months to figure out everything.. i’m tracking bank card expenses in app , it helps a lot. I write down all expenses from this app and then next weeks / month planning is more realistic. Which book you are liking the most right now?

This is why you should not include your husband's income in your budget. His business is not stable income. It will flex. Use the income from his business to pay towards your debt and live within your 80k income. There is easily $2k that can be knocked monthly. There is no reason to have a $70k car with an only child and in over your head in debt. Also get rid of anything membership or subscription. You do not NEED those things. You can use your gym equipment without the monthly subscription. You can have them when you are 100% debt free and have a savings account balance that you can live off of for a year without an income. Girl you poor start living like it.

I bought them from a small jewelry store located inside a flea market. They give the best prices and offer layaway. I’ll try to find a link or ask them next time I’m there.

Hi! I’m new here! What about your home owners insurance monthly cost? And is toilet paper/paper towel/etc considered under groceries? Thanks!
