You would have to check helium website for network compatibility. But they do work with phones that have esim

this is what happened when i mined Helium. i have to verify my radio which means i have to sign up with the service Helium Mobile. now my phone is locked and doesn't work. also i'm a software developer and familiar with technology.

Not accurate the service defaults to the TMobile service if it loses connection to the home hot spots. Also people who have hotspots actually earn for having them so I'm sure they would want to have them on all the time.
