This is one of my all time favorite Budgie songs titled Panzer Division Destroyed.
The song is on an EP titled If Swallowed Do Not Induce Vomitting, which was included with the Power Supply Cd.
Lineup:
* Burke Shelley - Vocals, bass
* John Thomas - Guitar
* Steve Williams - Drums

I used to be into Budgie, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Hawkwind and later Motörhead, UK Subs, Led Zeppelin, Rose Tattoo, Uriah Heep, UFO, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Rainbow and Dio. From the age of 16 to thirty I was an unapologetic speed freak. I was in the snake pit baby, there was a lot of it about. I was in a band called Virgin Blood. We did mostly covers and we wrote a few songs. The ones We wrote that I like best were liar, brass knuckles and fast as fuck. We weren’t terribly eloquent. Our lead guitarist went on to work with the singer from Marillion, the drummer from U.K. Subs (who apparently was a cunt), and has made a good living working as a session musician. He is truly an amazing guitarist now. He was great back in our day, but now he’s like a guitar genius. I’ve met U.K. Subs. As time went on I got into early Iron Maiden, with Paul Dianno and Clive Burr on drums, Saxon, Angelwitch, Blitzkrieg, Diamond head. I saw them live and they opened with Shoot out the lights, they were fucking awesome. I was a huge Motörhead fan. Got Lemmy’s autograph, saw them live at least a dozen times. When I was thirty I gave up speed. My teeth were fucked. Once I’d made some money I had a bunch replaced with implants and the rest I had veneers put on. I had gold teeth put in on my upper jaw just before my canine teeth and the same on my lower jaw. So I have four gold teeth. I don’t care if cunts think I’m a poser. I’m living proof that you can come back from a lifetime of heavy amphetamine abuse and still afford to buy a great smile. Before that as Lemmy put it my “perfect smile betrayed my lack of style”. We used to play this so loud through our PA system and amplifiers and bass bins. It’s such a ballsy song. I’ve always loved it.

I recommend any new fans get the first album (and to a lesser extent the second) as it is just solid headbashing rock, recorded basically live with a few overdubs.Really good stuff on there with The Author & Homicidal Suicidal being my faves. The second album it a pretty good representation of their original sound too...don't get me wrong, most of their other albums are fantastic if not better than the first two, but there is just something so RAW about the 1st 2 that keeps me coming back.
