Your impression is probably correct. They are smaller creatures. Like with children vs adults, but on a much more significant scale, their perception of time is faster and their metabolism is faster. Did you know the reason it's hard to hit a fly is because their perception of time is so fast?

Kiwi is such a beautiful budgie. I need to bring my new budgie up to listen to him. I've only had him three months and he already talks. I've had three previous talking budgies, plus another who may have learned a couple words, and I think he's picked it up the fastest.

Think it's about time I comment on your videos - My budgie who we call Joey does not go a day without playing with who we refer to as his best friend, " where's kiwi-wee-wees " we gave him a phone and it's ontop of his drawbridge 24/7 and when he comes out all he does is sit on the phone with his beak towards the speaker talking back with kiwi. There's a specific video he loves of kiwi, I put it on loop for him he absolutely loves kiwi he's around the same age as him too, all we have 2 say is where's kiwi or do you want me to put kiwi on, he'll fly down and out of his cage straight onto his phone, he's fluent in both English & Welsh, he is so clever and he even waves back at us with his little foot, just wanted to say please can you tell kiwi " Joey Boey says hi kiwi " if you could make a vid of it that'll be absolutely amazing but I get it if your busy. Almost forgot, yes he does annoy us sometimes by saying " Where's Kiwi " constantly if we don't put the video on for him, We have plenty of videos of him interacting with his best friend kiwi if it's ok I'll upload them and show his interaction with your kiwi, it's amazing he's really attached to kiwis voice

Thanks for replying and oh my god yes! That'll be absolutely amazing thank you so much!! He'd absolutely love it so much, it's taken a while to go through all your videos and there is one specific one he loves but wasn't enough for him the video you suggested is exactly what he needs, my wife and I absolutely love it because not only it keeps him occupied but he just constantly talks back to kiwi, granted it's mostly random words but that's his own little thing he has with his best friend, we know he absolutely loves kiwi, like I mentioned he starts asking " Where's kiwi" " where's kiwi wee-wees " he gets so excited when either of us starts putting on his phone for the day - So yes please that will be absolutely amazing thank you so much! My wife will sort out little videos of him out playing and interacting with kiwi and she'll upload and let you know on her channel, it's only fair seeing as he's more or less best friend with YOUR bird and you haven't a clue that a bird out there bases his own little entertainment & life all day everyday because of the videos you put up for him, you've been a godsend to us too he's a very clingy bird

No matter what you do, make sure you are committed to taking care of a bird for at least 10-20 years. Don't buy the bird just because of the noises it makes.
