I just wanted to say I absolutely love your videos, I think I said it before but your my favourite work out channel/channels. A mix of humor but also informative. Standard work out videos to silly side projects like this, it's a great mix of stuff. The whole buff family also don't come across as self obsessed, some workouts channels are very self absorbed. Norsemen fun facts 1) Viking is the name of a hit and run type tactic for the raids they'd conduct. 2) Vikings had multiple European backgrounds such as Sweden, Norway, Scotland, Scandinavia in general. 3) They never used axes or hammers as a weapon. They would use them as hand tools rather. They would use polearms more often, things like pikes or spears as they required less steel. Richer men of the tribe could afford a sword and chainmail. 4) You got the clothing right. They wouldn't wear furs piled on top of each other or horns on their skalds. 5) Vikings explored further than Iceland. in fact they had a settlement in the Americas called Vinland however the settlement failed because it didn't have enough contact coming back from Iceland or Scandinavia very few people knew about it so they were left to trade with the natives and due to language and cultural differences it didn't end so well for them. However there is an Aztec painting depicting a man with blonde braided hair wearing chainmail whom was described to speaking the language of the gods. It may be possible that the Vikings reached Mexico. 6) Viking were big on hygiene much like the Spartans. Facts they had these little spoons that were meant for clearing out ear wax. They're even English writings talking about how women preferred Viking men. 7) much like only the rich Vikings having swords only the rich Vikings got to wear chainmail. None of the thicker plated armor was used by the Vikings because the raid and tactics they used required fast mobility and though plate armor didn't hinder mobility much it did slow and weigh people down.
