Beedrill… One Pokémon they intentionally left out of Pokémon Yellow and still to this day, don’t understand why…. Not a particularly popular Pokémon or powerful and not a Rocket used Pokémon- or no memory of any rocket having it, and I know they went out of their way to keep the mainstream Rocket mons out, like Arbok, Koffin & Meowth (when I say “left out” I mean not catchable in it). But even in Gen2 it can do better than most people credit IMO. And Spore is nothing to sneeze at.

Last time I played Oregon Trail, it was the board game version with my brother, sister-in-law, and our dogs. One by one we all died; drowning in river crossings, dropping due to dysentery, ya know, the usual. By the end of it, only one managed to survive; the dog, Mishka. We all had a great mental image of a tiny chihuahua scampering over the last hill, leading the oxen down into the valley, and barking at literally everything to warn her now-dead humans of the vicious attack crickets. In honor of her victory, Mishkabob got extra chicken for dinner.

I think the reason there is no Flamethrower Dragonair is because it was impossible to get one until Crystal, so it would have been an illegal moveset in Gold and Silver.
