You didn't talked about this but... WE CAN SIT on a chair !!! At least we saw that twice in the videos of this Thursdoid, so I imagine that would be Vanilla in B42 ? If this is true, I know it's a simple things but I am SO HYPED for it. We can even see the player sitting on a chair at the bottom diagonal axe, that was impossible before even with mods... so that a HUGE improvement !!!

Simple thing and only existed in some mods. More interactions are definitely a thing I would like to see like the sit, nap, prone, lay, sit on table, couch, bartable etc. Another extra would be if we could hide in the closet or inside a bartable or similar medium to large sized objects like a bed. These should be in the game for more than just immersion.

That's what's up! I always wished we could sit in the chair. I jumped all over true actions when I saw it. The mod Lifestyle also lets you sit in chairs and such now, but I don't think it lets you lay on beds or couches.

the stealth changes will really make RP much more enjoyable, one complaint I had with the game is the fact you were forced to fight to survive, which I guess is realistic but I feel like most people's first thought wouldn't be "Dang zombies are here. Let me grab my frying pan and start killing!" so it's nice to be able to plan loot runs at night and try and hide from the zombies like most people would IRL

Nah stuff that, I want full plates and bite proof. :D Draw backs would be the materials and skill required as well as stamina drain as well as if you're too clumsy, maybe a nimble less than 3 and the negative clumsy trait, you'll fall over and many zoms at once could just rip it off you. Also even vaulting fences let alone climbing would be a no go, especially sheet rope climbing too. Also chain armor is scratch/slice proof so no more bs tree scratches or zombie scratches.

I'm much more excited about the performance optimization. I play this game on Ryzen 3 3250U laptop, and i only get around 25-35 fps maximum in certain situation. i hope that it will affect the game better especially with the low power machine.

Take a look at your RAM. You most likely have a single 8GB stick in it. If you have an empty slot, I very strongly advise to see what stick you have and buy a second one of the same kind, you will get dual channel RAM which will massively boost integrated GPU and CPU performance

@@Nagib23_32 yep. That's the first thing i did back then. The default setup is dual slot with only 1 slot filled with 4 gb 2400 Mhz. I bought 8 gb with the same speed, and now my total ram is 12 gb. When idle, 5.5 gb available. 2 gb got automatically reserved for the iGPU.

Early Access happened... sadly nowadays, while i love the little games that grow because of it, most devs take it as a sign to work in the game forever, while constantly introducing more and more half baked features, then taking 3 years between updates and almost always manage to fuck up previous functions with each update, and im not only talking about PZ, i would say around 50/60% or early access go this route, i don't know if its truly the best for the industry.

I have also noticed Zomboid getting progressively more dangerous as they update it. I remember the good ole days, back in 2D Zomboid, when I could casually clear out the North Point Mall whilst my buddy moves all of the useful loot to the roof (where we liked to base). It was a bit dangerous, but as long as you remained alert you wouldn't get swarmed. If you tried that shit now, you'd end up exhausted within minutes and neither fight nor flight would save you. It has forced me to use a more sophisticated approach i.e. explosives, and/or ramming a truck into the horde.
